1. if the stone is big enough like a stag horn they can do a procedure called a neprostolithotomy where them put a 10 mm hole in your back and into your kidney and cutt the stones up and pull them out! I seen a doc one time do a similar type procedure where he had to cut some fibrous tissue and cut the artery of the kidney I have never seen so much blood come out of 10mm hole. The patient even was HIV positive needless to say he went into the O.R. for removal of that kidney.
2. The first code I got was for number 3 injector control circuit. The guy was telling me that the solenoid sticks or the wave pulses and cause the injector to stay open then the ecm kills the first bank of injectors which is 1-3 injectors but if it is still open fuel is just pouring in thats like you said my egts were so high. But if I do find one bad injector I will replace them all. shoot while I am in there doing ohm checks I will do a valve lash check.
3. well I drove her all over town today because of work with no problem and my oil was a little low but my frantz was leaking for a while but I fixed it. I am going to try and check the ohms when I get a chance. I called a local shop here and the guy said that he sees it often especially when temperatures change. I asked him if I should bring it in to have them inspect it he told me that I need to bring it in when it is doing it. Now lets say the solenoid is going bad does that mean the whole injector has to be replaced or can you just replace the bad part?
4. ok my question is how is the ohm checking procedure done? I know stupid but i want to make sure I do it right. Just ground the ground probe and check each post with the positive probe?
5. So driving home tonight from work my engine light came on the truck started to loose power and running really rough. After the wife came with my Smarty I checked and cleared the codes then it continued to run like crap then I noticed my EGT's were 1200 just driving 30 mph plus you can see smoke pouring out the rear. Anyways i pulled over tuned the truck back to stock then it ran fine not one problem. When I got home reprogrammed it back to where it was when the problems started drove it around no problems. So should I have it checked out to be safe or do you think it was the programmer? The 0203 code is for the number 3 injector wire circuit and the 2146 is the cylinder bank 1-3. thanks for any help.
6. I have it really tight but I do know if that's the reason for the leak I have not had any time to take it apart and investigate. The leak is very small its not like pouring out but its there. But I always think its a good idea just to have a back up.
7. mine is leaking now but like mentioned above I think I over torqued the band. Good thing I have extra gaskets though.
8. My brother was having symptoms some what like this and replaced these products and no problem ever since http://www.electricaladvantage.net/reborgpressuresolenoidkit00up.aspx His a 2006 though. I may be wrong I am no expert:thumbup2: I am just a squirrel trying to get a nut in this forest we call life!
9. Thanks for the linkDo you keep them on all the time?
10. Hey AH64ID where did you get those flaps at?
11. Thats what my cough medicine cabinet looks like I had to show my AA instructor this pic Kidding:thumbup2:
12. Do you know where I can find those specs? I think I am going to revamp my setup I am going to take a small sheet of metal and drill some holes and try that out. Cause I am having a hard time finding comparable hose without paying 4.00 a foot.
13. I totally agree with you I dont like the thought of drilling into my frame but I have a setup just like that or bracket that holds my dieselsite trans filter head to the driver seat bolts. The only other place would be to drill along the fire wall or fender. I could probab;y fabricate a "sandwhich" type bracket that hugs the frame. But my biggest delima right now for me anyways is to find the hose that I can use with my current fittings. Like this bracket
14. I would mount my setup there but thats where I have my 3 micron fuel filter at. So to the frame I go
15. The hose that came with the frantz is gates loc on 1/4 inch 300 psi 300 temp hose and I cannot find it on the web to purchase. i want to move my setup to the frame cause the make shift bracket is crappy and is cracking this is why I was asking about the hose from hydraulics direct before I purchase it. this is what I am looking for or comparable hose but for a cheaper price than 4 dollars a foot that we filter it offers it for. The hose pictured above is what come with the frantz kits.
16. Alright so I have a question. I am looking at relocating my Frantz to the frame. I am trying to find comparable oil push lock hose but I can only find this: I need to obviously get more line to do this [h=3]Push-Lock Hose Specifications[/h]

Item# Inner Diameter Outer Diameter Maximum Working Pressure (psi) Minimum Burst Pressure (psi) Minimum Bend Radius

3384-BK-04 1/4" .50" 250 1,000 3"

3384-BK-06 3/8" .62" 250 1,000 3"

3384-BK-08 1/2" .75" 250 1,000 5"

3384-BK-10 5/8" .91" 250 1,000 6"

3384-BK-12 3/4" 1.03" 250 1,000 7"

This hose is suitable for hydraulic fluids on mineral oil and synthetic oil basis (HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP), oil-water-emulsions (HFAE, HFAS, HFB), water-glycol liquids (HFC), vegetable and mineral oil based lubricants, cooling water, and compressed air. Also generally suitable for biologically degradable hydraulic liquids (HETG, HEPG, HEES) however limited by fluid additives. Not suitable for hydraulic fluids on phosphate ester basis (HFD). I know it does not have the same specs as the Gates oil hose that comes with the Frantz system being 300 psi 300 temp, but will it work? Any help would be great
17. Just recharge it. It will be fine same problem charged it and its blowing the same temp both sides
18. NICE BUMPERS But I am surprised you don't get pulled over cause you cant read your license plate it seems to be covered I am kidding
19. I thought GZ was of Hispanic descent?
20. Yes I have noticed that decent boxes are not cheap that's for sure. But I guess in this case you get what you pay for?Sent from ME! 2005 cummins frantz oil bypass, homedepot air intake(thanks to AH64ID), DTT trans, 2micron fuel filter, dieselsite aux trans filter,Smarty, with some other stuff.
21. Ok thanks that is exactly what I am looking for. I found one on a tractor supply web site but I don't know if they will ship it. It was a job site one. You picked yours up locally I assume?Sent from ME! 2005 cummins frantz oil bypass, homedepot air intake(thanks to AH64ID), DTT trans, 2micron fuel filter, dieselsite aux trans filter,Smarty, with some other stuff.
