  1. Okay so am I okay to drive home like this you think? I’m not sure how long it’s been this bad. Just today my truck seemed to lose all power randomly for two or three seconds while I was accelerating up a steep hill. I have about a 20 mile drive home Does anyone have a preferred or recommended Electric lift pump?
  2. This is what I used to check right at VP. Connected it just as it looks in picture. I guess that explains my surging and what seems like dead pedal even after timbo apps
  3. Like title says, I have about 4-5 psi at idle and 0 at WOT. I used a gauge that I connected at the VP44. Does this mean new lift pump? Injection pump?
  4. Okay going to do this right now then. How do I check for Ac noise?
  5. I’ve actually had that unplugged for Awhile now, I think the boost fooler in it quit working.
  6. I just found out that it does not surge at all if overdrive is off. I can go 45, 50, even 55 with overdrive off and no surging.
  7. So to start here’s what I’ve done to try to fix it. Checked all grounds and connections, new batteries, new timbo apps. I don’t have any fuel pressure gauges so I don’t know if it’s a fuel thing. I am looking to get some today if I can. So the problem is once I get to about 43 it starts surging. It will stop as soon as I go back to 40 or under. The problem seemed to appear after I replaced my whole A/C system. And only when the Ac is on. But will keep happening even after the AC is turned back off. But if I never turn it on in the mornings, it doesn’t seem to do it. Although I never get too far about 15min before turning it on because of the heat here. It seems like when it started it was only at about 43-48 that it would do it and over or under it was fine. But now it’s anyspeed over 43. I would give it decent throttle to passed the bad zone and jump straight to 50 and it never had problems, now it does it even when it downshifts to accelerate harder. Any help would be appreciated. Almost forgot, I used code reader and found no codes. (There was one for apps signal low but went away after Timbo apps)

  9. Went and checked again. I must have just remembered wrong. I had two codes, one showed up with key trick and one with scanner tool. P0236 and p0460

  11. Code p0260 popped up today. Can’t find anything on it. Any help would be appreciated. My only symptom is surging at 35-45-55 mph. I’ve had that problem before which was just a loose battery connection but I’ve checked everything I could think of and all connections are okay.

  13. Haven’t done It since I’ve owned the truck. And I’ve put over 150,000 on it. Going to do this tonight, just bought new gasket and feeler gauge. Very detailed instructions, this should be easy!
  14. Just looked it up and some guy said it doesn’t work for Cummins turbo diesels. Something about it going to the bottom even with the filter out
  15. Installed new edge Ez since my last one quit working. Now I have a problem where it goes into limp mode after too much boost I think? What’s causing this? Stuck wastegate?
  16. Okay so I’ll just use this one until I need to wash it for the first time then swap to BHAF. Would I have to buy the stock intake tube as well? I just looked it up and found one on Pure Diesel Power for 39.73$.   17. Thanks! Never heard anything bad about S&B until now. Although my turbo looked filthy. I switched to a k&n filter in the S&B box after I cleaned the turbo and it’s stayed clean since.(about a month ago) Definitely going to be switching to the BHAF because I’m sure the K&N isn’t much if any better.
  18. Mine does, came disconnected one time and I noticed excessive oil coming from the vent tube. Couldn’t figure out why until I saw one day it was disconnected. must help in the ventilation process? I have an 01 though
  19. Looks like the vacuum line that goes to rear of the crank case?
  20. Any chance the ignition run fuse would cause this? I’m sure you checked fuses anyway. Just throwing out ideas
  21. Yes everything is in great shape except the driver side seat has a tear in it from wear. And the hood has a small dent the size of a quarter up towards the windshield
  22. The main reason I’m asking is I’ve had 3 people make me offers...all 3000$ Or lower. Does that seem right? Or is it too low. If that’s what i should expect I’ll just keep it as another parts truck for my new 01
  23. So I’m looking to sell my truck. I found another 01 with only 168,000 miles. So what I’m asking is how do you price a high mileage truck like this? It runs great and has no issues. 316,000 miles tho. Overhauled transmission at about 270,000 raptor 150 s&b cold air intake edge ez
  24. Thanks guys, put in a 190°. Sitting at just under 190 now. Seemed to warm up faster this morning as well. I’m happy about that
