Nv5600 info needed
Ok guys as some of you know I've had lots of trans issues with my 5600 and was going to swap a 4500 in but after search cand find what I need so I'm look in to maby repair the 5600 which will require having the bell housing repaired but to have the machine work done I need to know the correct spec of the in put bearing hole so it can be machined to fit correctly.

Nv5600 becareful who you let build
My thoughts too on the 4500 I've got the tools and skill to build a 4500 I've seen many 4500s take some serious abuse and hold up, I've not had good luck with the 5600 so instead of buying another one and can swap to a 4500 for the same or cheaper and give that a try, I know towing don't kill them if driven correctly

Rebuilt transmission where to stay away from
Yes also has to be a 1996 or newer if it's a gm the older gm ones had a diff mounting bolt pattern that won't mount to the bell housing for the cummins

Rebuilt transmission where to stay away from
Kinda my thoughts on ats too, and yes I know u normally only hear the bad, but I do look at the reviews and try to interpret them, cause I'm more concerned over warranty and customer service, cause I filed complaints against cpp and there response was that they never put used parts in there's and that I broke the trans even tho they never seen it

Rebuilt transmission where to stay away from
Ok guys as y'all know I'm looking to ditch my nv 5600 and go to a nv4500 I've been looking for a build able 4500 but ain't had no luck yet, so I if I was to have to buy a re man where the best place, of course cpp is a deff no, ats I will never be able to afford, and I'm reading lots of bad reviews on all state gear, standard trans Blumenthal, Midwest trans and just about every one of them

Nv5600 becareful who you let build
Well finnaly made a decision, and due to the fact that I rarely tow over 6k and the hardness of finding parts and all aspects looked at I'm going ditch the over priced and over rated 5600 and go with a 4500 if I can find a used on to build my self I do not trust any company to get I re man from after my experience, like I've always herd one bad Apple can ruin it all
