Equipment Service Manuals
Since everyone here is so willing to share their knowledge and experience, I thought I would offer to share as well. I have access to service manuals and parts info for a variety of equipment ranging from chainsaws and line trimmers to back hoes and skid steers and larger equipment as well. Both homeowner and commercial grade. Some of the files are very large and you might need a dropbox account for me to send them but I'm more than willing to share. Too many manufacturers to list them all but here is a few:John Deere - if you have anything JD, I most likely have a manual for it.KubotaNew HollandToro - almost anything they ever madeShindiawaKawasakiStihlClub Car

AD 100 Install ?
The tapped tee that I got from Vulcan looks like it is 1/8 NPT but don't quote me on that. I always seem to screw up guessing pipe thread sizes.

AD 100 Install ?
That's what I was hoping for. Now if I get the rest of the work out of the shop and put the pump in before the other line kit gets here I won't have to worry about not having the pre heater. Not that it's been very cold here this year. Next question. Is it necessary to have a filter in the stock housing? I can see the benefit of more filtering but can too much be a problem?

Thanks. I saw that line kit when I ordered the AD 100. Looks like I will need to order that too.

AD 100 Install ?
The pre heater will likely be needed here as it gets down below zero during the winter. Do you happen to know if the inlet on the filter housing is the same thread as the inlet on the VP?

AD 100 Install ?
I will be installing the new AD 100 soon and was wondering what everyone else does with the stock filter housing? I thought I read that some have removed it but now I can't find the info again. I plan on running the 1/2" line right to the VP with a tee for the pressure gauge unless there is a better way to do it.

What fuel pressure do you run if you have a gauge?
I replaced the lift pump only at 100k miles and then the VP and lift pump at about 200k miles. I never knew about these issues until a few years ago when I started reading up on things so I set aside some money for another VP and I figured I'd just run it until it quits. Still going for over 2 years now. Power is still good and mileage is 15-16/gal on winter fuel with the truck loaded with tools.

Just joined the forum a few days ago and figured I'd say hi. I'm the Equipment Manager for the golf and grounds department at a large resort in Verona NY. We maintain a fleet of equipment that ranges from chainsaws to tri-axle dump trucks. Looking forward to learning all I can about the old dodge I've got because the thought of having a truck payment again doesn't sit well with me. 261,000 miles and hoping for 500,000.
