  1. Go to the Air Dog website and download the install manual. Then just zoom in on the pics.
  2. Not too bad of an install. The hardest part for me was removing the stock line at the top of the tank. I have bad shoulders and trying to twist myself between the frame and fender to get at the connection was tough. If you decide to cut out the excess hose from the new line that comes with it, warm up the ends with hot water before trying to push in the splices. I just used wd-40 and it was a serious fight. Someone here supplied that tip and I really wish I would have asked before the install. I've only got stock injectors and an Edge EZ so the psi drop may be different for you with what you are adding.
  3. The other guys know a lot more about this stuff than I do but I recently installed an AD100. No 1/4 tank issues and only drop 3 psi at WOT running through the stock filter housing and the stock small line from the housing to the VP.
  4. The repair is on a hydraulic manifold that feeds the oil cooler. Pressure leaves a relief valve at 60 psi and then goes on to the cooler.
  5. Some scary stuff here. This info could save your life. Please read. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vF3X0GaPUeo/Sm3iotyWwzI/AAAAAAAAAmM/kw_229iGrcc/s1600-h/87c8ee40.jpg
  6. I recently had to make a repair like this. Part was backordered from the factory and we couldn't wait. I removed the cracked housing and cleaned it with brake clean very well. After it dried, I heated the area with a torch to cook the remaining oil out of the cracks, use a fan and respirator because the fumes from heated brake clean is very unhealthy. Take the fan and respirator part seriously, bad stuff. I then added way too much blue loctite to both the housing and the fitting and screwed it in and let it cure for the weekend. Still holding over 60 psi back with no leaks. Might be worth a try.
  7. ^^^I'm 43 now so I have at least 20-25 years before I get to join you in your current profession. Looking forward to it though.
  8. Thanks for the replies everyone. It seems we have a wide variety of experiences here.
  9. Counts in my book. Keeping the "Better Half" on her toes is a full time job around here.
  10. I'll do what I can. Free rounds of golf are hard to come by around here but not impossible. Hope this course is up to your standards. http://turningstone.com/golf/atunyote.php
  11. Just trying to get to know the folks here and thought I'd ask what everyone does for a living? Some of you know enough that I'm guessing there are at least a few Dodge techs amongst us? Maybe?I'm the Equipment Manager, basically a service/fleet manager, for the golf and grounds department at Turning Stone Resort in NY. I manage 3 shops with 6 Equipment Techs and we maintain and repair all the equipment for our department. Everything from chainsaws to excavators for a crew of 125+ operators during the growing season and 50 operators when we are on our snow plow schedule. I also have my own repair business that I run nights and weekends. Mostly turf equipment but I occasionally take in other work as well. The bulk of the work is grinding reel mowers, small diesel repairs, and a lot of hydraulic work. So, what do you do if you don't mind me asking?
  12. I'd like to be able to do the same thing but I'm not sure if the road salt around here will let it happen.
  13. Congrats. That's a lot of pups.

Welcome. Everyone here is great about helping. You'll likely find the answers to all of your questions.
  15. Welcome and Aloha from sometimes sunny NY.
  16. Welcome aboard. 262,000 here and hoping for many more.
  17. I think I read that the ball would sometimes get stuck in the end of the spring and cause problems. The slight oval shape makes it difficult or maybe impossible for the ball to get stuck.
  18. Everything I've read says to put it between the filter and the VP. This way, if you notice a pressure drop, you know it's time to check your filter.
  19. I've searched around the site and read all I could find about a boost elbow but still have a question. The Edge EZ I bought a few years ago came with a boost elbow but I never installed it. I drive like grandpa most of the time and don't have a boost gauge yet. Hope to do the gauge soon.Is there any benefit to installing the elbow or am I better off leaving it in the tool box?
  20. Everyone down there OK? I've been reading about 4' of hail in the panhandle. Body shops are going to be busy. http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/12/11160993-4-feet-of-hail-in-texas-reports-photos-cause-quite-a-storm
  21. Nice Power Wagon. I bet it's a blast to drive.
  22. I talked to one body shop and they get their panels at a wholesale supplier. I can buy there through my business but one of the body techs caught me on the way out and said that quality can be hit or miss. The regularly send panels back. I'll have to check out Rockauto. Thanks guys.
  23. I used a tapped banjo bolt at the VP and didn't cut off any excess line when I installed it to add the effect of extra distance from the pump. I just coiled it up neatly and zip tied it out of the way. I haven't had any issues since I installed it.
  24. I've got a good bit of rust on the old girl and I can't stand it much more. I have looked at LMC and on partsgeek.com for body panels but I'm not sure of the quality. Anyone know of a good place to get quality body panels at a reasonable price. Kinda been scared to check dealer pricing. Thanks.
  25. Got it. Thank you. Gives us a good place to start.
