  1. Ummmm. why were they "Beating" ur wheels off? and $1400??? Really that much?!? umm id say there trying to scam you...
  2. Got the parts in today! I'm prolly gonna get it towed over to Throughbred Diesel and have them do the install, I don't have all the necessary tools to do it at the House.
  3. Yes they are, About 90% is made by Moog, TRW,Precison,Master pro, basically any in house brand.... That's why if i do buy any thing on a budget i just buy the in house brand same quality as the $40-60 higher priced moog... not saying it's good quality but it'll work. When i worked in parts i warrented out so many Moog made parts it was unbelievable. Mainly u-joints, axle bearings and Hubs, I've never had issues with Spicers or Timkens.. Cost $$$ but worth it in the long run
  4. As mike said top it off, Also to check the driveline u can have the wife run through the gears while you lay under it and watch the Joints and look for slop/play as well listen for it. Good luck
  5. As Ryan stated, Gutless under powered i know they'll pull a load but man do they REV High, more than my liking, and i've had 2 close friends that had them 1 Durango other a Dakota and they both had knocking issues under 100K and they serviced them on time religously, now i know that not all of them had issues but i've seen my fair share be it from friends and Customers when i worked in parts. I passed on buying a super clean 4x4 Loaded Durango because it had the 4.7, I'd rather have the 5.2 or 5.9 Much better engines
  6. Gonna pick up the parts to do this tomorrow! Pumped do something to the beast while it's broke down.... haha
  7. Well i was gonna do that, but another reason i got this is so it'll be easier on the pump, better than sucking the fuel up, just kinda be an easy flow/pull on it. also where im at i got limited tolls and resources to to a tank drop and drilling. All my tools are still in FL.
  8. Well instead of cutting the basket or doing the straw i decided to get a Hellmans Sump Pump got a sweet deal on one shipped so i figured be easier/cleaner to install it instead, Should also be easier on my AD150 as well. Just waiting on parts now should have it all by Tues and then the fun begins.... Thanks again for the helpful replies
  9. If u have that kind of extra money, Buy it, don't install it just take it with you with required tools and if it does go out you have it ready and can swap it out, And if u don't need it u can return it. Don't fix what aint broke... Just mad at ur money haha Good luck
  10. 11. He's a truckin. Shoot id charge 25-50Cent a mile seems fair will cover ur maintenance cost and then some
  12. How does this guy go thru 35 Gal of Fuel so quick like and not know how much hes used as he's been driving.... i'd say from now on if he uses it Rent it out to him and require it be brought back with a full tank....
  13. I'd personally stay away from the 4.7 motor's... But i do love the looks of the Dakotas! and that's actually a darn good price for that one, most in that shape still demand 6-8K over priced of course. Good luck
  14. My truck has 285,xxx and i don't have any blow by or any oil leaks and it still has the factory puke bottle, i still wanna do this upgrade though just for peace of mind, my only ? is how does this look where it comes out at the back of the motor not really any pics of that part just the top part on the motor.
  15. Not to shabby! Hit up Cumminsdog on CF he's been looking for one of those rear seat storage boxes 4 awhile now... Also PM sent your way
  16. Shoot those seats will clean right up! main thing is the Cushioning looks great. Sucks i just left FL for KY and put some tan cloths in , Clean em up and they'd sell... Did you get a decent price on this setup? considering the engine/tranny is technically the only useable parts?
  17. Ouch! at least half the work is done for you... lol Are the seats re usable??
  18. Either bad connection, short in the wire or your speaker finally ate it.
  19. or you could fab some up..... what i did out of some scrap diamond plate aluminum only took 30 mins for both sides and they work great! GL
  20. Same here GPS for MPH adjustment, but for easier take offs and such maybe change your gearing up, but even with 355s they still scoot right along.
  21. Good to hear that your ok, ur lucky u didnt wipe out at 80MPH! i had a RR blow at 80 mph about 4 weeks ago scared the **** outta me my truck came off the ground! heres a pic o f the carnage, it sucks about the damage but at least your ok that's the main thing. also get on CL u can find good deals on wheels/tires almost new for great $$ Not trying to hi-jack
