Any predator hunters in our family?

Was a good weekend for finding Kitty cats here in ND this weekend.

These were taken about 125 miles NW of where I live but there is a population that spans our entire state, the last few years cats have been taken in all corners of ND, there was one killed only 8 miles from my house a couple years ago and have been numerous sitings all around my house the last several years, I have seen tracks in the snow while hunting but never seen one in person in the wiild. We also have Bobcats but are rarely ever seen, most are taken by trap or snare and even that is rare, sneaky little buggers. I am personally a coyote caller, have done it my whole life and is great fun.

Big Cat, Great Story

This is a heartwarming story here, chase Wisness was paralyzed in a car accident a few years back. Rusty Christopherson and dusty Hausauer tried to make it happen for chase all season but just never had the luck. But today was a different story. I got the phone call this morning from a neighbor north of me that said he found a track. I called rusty and we took our dogs up there and stuck em on the track. Dogs treed this nice female lion and we were fortunate enough to get chase in there on a sled to harvest this amazing animal. Talk about some great people, great friends, and an awesome story nobody will soon forget! Congrats chase Wisness!

On a side note I am 1000% against using dogs to run down cats, to me this is as immoral a hunting practice as one can get, I am not for making things illegal but in this instance I am dead set against it unless it is a creature who has become destructive or dangerous to humans. Falls into the same category as "Baiting" of any sort in my book, pretty pathetic way of hunting.

I do predator hunting. Bobcat and cougar mostly. No dogs, bobcat at night with spotlights and calling cougar. A group of us go each February to a mule deer wintering area in central Oregon. Let me know if any of you want to go cougar hunting about Valentine's Day.
