Neither android nor apple products have that ability. That would be up to @Quadzilla Power power to decide if they want to develop that.

I agree, but since they listen to this forum I just wanted to put it out there. I thought @Me78569 was working on the code for the APP? I wonder if this is something he can pose to quad to incorporate. Also Custom warning thresholds for the gauges would be awesome.

I'm a little new to diesel tuning, and I copied @Me78569's DD tune for a baseline with my 7x.010 SAC injectors which is working great so far, but I have a S366 / HX35 compound setup coming, and I was wondering what would be a good baseline with the better turbos.

That all depends on YOU haha. Start out with your current tune and increase as you see fit while remaining smoke free or at a light haze. If you have a light foot you can ramp up faster. If you have a lead foot you'll have to ramp up slower. Your spool will likely remain close to the same as just the HX.

What do you think about timing? will timing help spool the turbo? Or just fuel?

So... in theory lower timing helps spool turbos faster. This is still in the test phase for 2nd gens though, so no guarantee on whether it will work well for you or not. You could increase your Low Psi Timing Reduct and possibly see faster spool. Like I said earlier though, you likely won't see see a benefit because your spool should be the same as the hx. Once the HX lights, it'll help get the 66 moving.

I just leave it turned up, cruise state I don't have any wiretap, then a touch of throttle and I am in the 15-20 psi range.

Great off idle power, with a touch of haze.

@CSM

The tune is a bit different than the one you drove with.  much more off idle meat.

I blew the tires off the truck with a trailer hooked up leaving a stop sign haha.... Thankfully the trailer was empty.  Haha hard getting used to the change.

I've already got that problem with the Jayco RV hitch up and loaded.

I have been spending some more time tuning.  I now have a more aggressive DD tune,  I only get haze, which is more than before but still only haze..  The perk of the new tune is a good bit more offline go.    I am still sure I could pass emissions with this tune.

Currently Running this tune, with good results, but thinking about comparing this DD tune to the one @Me78569 just posted. I get a light haze from mine heavy on the throttle, and just a smidge of black smoke during hard shifts.

I am going to try your tune out with the 7x.010 SAC, I will log a couple trips and let you know how it works, I like the fuel curve on that one

Also, you have 17 PSI listed, my Quad jumps from 16-18-20. is that an issue?

Here is my current empty truck tune for +50HP injectors. Just a light gray haze for WOT runs. I'm using my exponential curve now. Starting at 100, with a growth of 1.3%

New Performance Tune...

+50 HP injectors, HX35W Turbo, BHAF, and 3" Exhaust.

It still smoke-free. Pulls like a crazed mule. 3rd gear on dry pavement it will spin the tire just rolling into the throttle. MPG's are down about 2-3 MPG but the power is much greater. It stupid powerful out in the snow really have to watch your throttle foot closely it takes very little throttle to get all 4 tires (4WD) to light up even on wet pavement now. No problems with EGT's either very cool running.

Hey Guys, I have been experimenting with so many tunes that I started a library and gave them their own "Codes" so I can keep track. Please see the Pictures Below, I am having good luck with Test Tune 1 / XA2 and Test Tune 2 / XM2.

Regarding Timing, I am finding that my truck seems to like 12* @ 80% Scaling.

Tune XM2 / MPG 2 Has good power down low, but leans out just enough on the highway for 31MPG @ 70 MPH on the instant disp. This is not a power tune, its not fast and on PL3 I can barely make 30 PSI with my compounds.

I have attached the Curve graph for you to see how aggressive they are.

I am running S366/HX35 Compounds and 7X0.010 SAC Injectors, on XM2 I barley get a haze with the pedal on the floor.
