Had a wreck-replaced front clip, final phase is headlights. It's a daily driver so put salvage yard stock housings and some old Sylvania's in to be legal. Getting by with a pair of LED fog lights for back roads. Of course I'd like to upgrade. Hopefully to an LED that is not obnoxious to other drivers, or having to overhaul the whole system. Kind of limited on time, but performance and quality are priority. My thought is to convert from 9004's to 07's or whatever else that will start me out with a better bulb. Then it's between halogen and LED's, and reflectors or projector housings. I have the harness to go to quad bulbs but I believe the computer needs to be flashed. If two bulbs can do the job near as good as four then I'll stay with duals. I see some have been trying t o figure out the same problem. No need to start a new thread if there is a current one, but this is an evolving subject, I see new technology about every time I look. I'd appreciate anyone's advise. I will post my progress and results with pics if it will help anyone else. Thanks in advance.

I just installed the Lasfit LS series LED lights in my 99, and I am very pleased! Ridiculously bright!! I got them on eBay for $109.

I am considering putting a set in my daughters truck as well. We live in the mountains, and drive a lot on dirt roads with lots of wild life and extreme road hazards. These aging eyes can use all the help they can get!

Also, Lasfit customer service is very good.. I had an install issue, but it was me not seeing that their units locking collar comes off, so you can slide the stock collar over the front of their emitter, instead of over the rear, like a stock bulb.

My eyes need help too. Truck even more so. So, you went from stock 9004's and reflector housings to these led's. Sounds like install.went good. Did you have to do anything in way of fabrication or harness upgrade?

Food for thought. This is what LEDs in stock housings look like to other drivers. He was a 1/4 mile back and I still wanted to throttle him.
