I apologize if there is already another thread for something similar to this, however I’m looking for some help in tuning my 99 5 speed. My truck has some modifications and I just don’t feel like it’s at it’s full potential with the pre loaded tunes. It’s got 60 hp injectors and a silver bullet 66 turbo, was hoping someone could give me some options or a list of what should make it run the best. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome Dylan.

You might fill out your signature with all your modifications done to your truck so we know what you have. Then we can help you better on tuning. As it stands I would say bigger injectors. Injectors are too small for what turbo you've got. 7 x 0.010 would be a good start. I'm running 7 x 0.0085 injectors (+75 HP) now with a HX35/40 hybrid (60/60/12).

Thank you, trying to fill out my signature at the moment but the mobile site is kind of wonky. Bigger injectors are a plan for the future but for now I’ve got to deal with what I have but my mods are 60hp injectors, silver bullet 66 turbo, single disk southbend clutch, and 4 inch turbo back exhaust.

What @Mopar1973Man is saying there is not enough fueling to utilize the bigger turbo. An efficient tune will be nearly impossible until fuel needs are addressed with proper fuel injectors.

Should of the HX35 turbo on for those injectors. You don't need a turbo till you get to about +100 HP for injectors. 7 x 0.010 would be a good start for that current turbo.

It was the turbo that came with the truck when I bought it, so I was hoping there was more I could do before injectors for now but It’s not looking that way.

Till you get injectors you can try going up on canbus, not sure what tune you got now, post it maybe. Instead of starting at 110 Mabel try 120, but I know there is kind of a limit where you can start. And also you can have wiretap come in sooner. But yes best next thing would be injectors. I could use a set myself just haven't had time or extra money right now.  I'm using 75hp with 62/67/12

Also make sure you have 0 boost leaks it does matter quite a bit.

Currently I’m just using the default profile for the v2 tuning.
