Don't forget about all the increased parasitic drag in winter too. Dense air, colder grease, colder fluids, and such.

Good point!! Plus I had a 600 round bale in the back for traction, so I know that hurt some as well.

I had to do something so I didn't drive in 4x4 all the time. These thing suck in the snow! Especially with the long bed. But that round roll maybe a huge difference.

I don’t notice much difference unless I have around 1K in the bed. 

 

I need about a ton centered just aft of the rear axle to get to the ideal 50:50.

Yeah, torque can be tricky. My throttle sensitivity is lower than stock for winter and dirt purposes.

It can be very trick. Lol gotta even out the weight a Little!
