Most here go for the 62/68/12... My 60/60/12 HX35/40 hybrid I grabbed it for the fact I didn't want to lose my exhaust brake which most aftermarket turbos you end up losing the exhaust brake (turbo mounted) then moving to in-pipe exhaust brake.

A lot also depends on where you want your best rpm range to be. 

 

60/60/12 will do best at lower rpms, such as towing in higher gears. The 62/68/12 will do better at higher rpms, such as racing, or more "spirited" driving.

60 60 12 sounds like me. I dont like to go much over 2200rpm

Hx40 has a weaker turbine shaft. This why the HX35/40 hybrid was made. The stronger HX35 turbine is used and then the HX40 compressor.

 

Or...

 

Some mod the HE351 turbo. Basically the same specs.

I think a 62/65/12 would be best for your goals.  It will spool like a stock turbo and give plenty of air for towing and has room for you to grow if you decide you want more in the future.
