:)   That is what Spring looks like.  :)

Strange enough spring start in February which was weird for us. We typically have snow on the ground yet and spitting snow off and through this month.

Mike, That's nice. Do you take the whitewater raft to work every morning? Big Smile.....

Ummm... No. It would be a extremely cold ride and long walk home.

That's some green grass you got there!

This green??? Wait till April / May and the water is turned on. Then we'll have green grass. This is just half dead lawn from last year.

It's really green compared to whats around here right now anyway, all the grass is full on dead brown.

Same here. Another 3 weeks and it should be turning green but unless we get some moisture it won't last long, had a very dry winter, less than a foot of snow all winter and most of it was dry stuff and was gone within a week or two of falling.

In my area around Bismarck Mandan and areas west it just melted within a week of falling in most cases, never got more than 2-4 inches at the most this winter in my area when it did snow. Have not had anything that even resembles a normal snow storm this winter although anytime now through beginning of may we can get the big ugly heavy wet snow and ice storms.

Its been a strange winter for sure looking across the country. All the typical cold regions were unseasonably warm and the Midwest and northeast got hammered. February was the coldest on record here. I've still got several inches of snow on my roof on the north side of the house. Was down at the lake the other day and there is several FEET of ice in the form of windrows. Its quite the site to see.

I didn't take any pictures but here is some footage of a freighter stuck on the ice just outside of Conneaut Harbor last month. This is near where I live.
