Just got home. Had a good run with no 0216 code returning like it was for 4 years before.

I gotta say..... had a real good time Mike and Mopar Mom. Thank you for prompting me to get over there.  Got some real rest and real fun.

It is an out of the way place with a whole lot of mountains towering over your place. It's beautiful.

Pleased with the comments and interest on my truck.... it's nothin' compared to Mikes powered up Second gen. It was a blast riding in with ya'

BTW, Anybody have antidote for getting off the slippery slope of power modes? I have an automatic :ahhh:

Well I made it back from Huntington, OR just now. Good trip home being we waited for the storm to pass. JAG1 drove through it. (Covering Eyes) but I see he made it just fine.

Sounds like BOMB (Better Of Modified Baby!) bug bit you. :ashamed::lmao2::lmao:

I've got to admit we had a wonderful time hanging out for a week. JAG1 is a awesome character to get to know. Sure has a wonderful talent for working with wood. :thumb1:  I hope to see him again in the near future. Weather should be warmer and less snow. But here is a few pictures of our camp out in Huntington, OR.

Easy, just build an automatic!  When I had mine rebuilt several years ago, my trans builder/friend went above and beyond my perceived future mods. He said I would thank him later, and he was completely right. 5 years and 100k miles later Ive stil got room to grow and retain the reliability.

I got a good shot of the Mopar family all around the kitchen. Got to get that posted cause it's great.

Yes to the built auto trans Diesel4life, it will have to happen when this stocker starts to go. Mikes truck was too fun.

Bomb bug bites hard cause I always said it would never happen, now got me with a vengeance.

Opps... :ashamed:

All I did was... :burnout:  And JAG1 had a perma-smile from ear to ear. All I did was pull up Goose Creek grade in 4th squeezed the throttle a bit deeper than normal and the rear tires let go. JAG1 was shocked when the truck pulled a bit sideways around the corner just as the rear tires broke lose. What was funny was he asked me to drive his truck after installing the injection pump. I knew I couldn't because I'd have to put my boot through the floor to make it pull like mine. So I stayed a passenger for the sake of his stock tranny.

So JAG1 is off to work to get paid so he can cure his sickness...  :spend: I know he feels the love here... :lmao::hug:

What can I say its a illness every Dodge Ram Cummins owner has to deal with. You never know when the bug will bite you and when it does you don't what to do next. Well you in the right spot we can spend you money for you.

Seriously. JAG1 has a very nice stock powered truck very clean as well. He's done a lot of supporting mods to the truck already like front end work, suspension for heavy camper, and fuel system that I've seen. Yeah... He's still got a stock tranny and that is the weak point. So till that's dealt with I say enjoy what you got. Then you can step up to a Edge, Smarty, etc.

We will be in Wyoming the week of Aug. 10-14. We are still sorting out plans but tentatively we are planning on spending a couple of those days at Yellowstone. I haven't been there since I was a child, so needless to say I am excited about going and more excited for my boys to be able to experience it.
