Looking at this: http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/product.aspx?pf_id=FS1212-UK I already have issues with the restriction of the stock in tank pickup. I can pull my Raptor 100 down from 20 to 14 psi so I don't want to make that worse, but I also want to protect my pump. Whatcha think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  2. Ok, so my truck was a repo and the wiring harness and trailer plug are missing. I see where they cut the wires but it also looks like they had something rigged up here like some lights or something. There is a group of 5 wires grouped together in black wire protector. There is a red wire that looks like it goes back to the battery. Two other black wires.I have not bought the harness or plug yet. I want to be able to run the lights on trailer and charge the battery on the trailer while towing. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks,Jason

  3. :banghead: well it's a 2001 2500 cummins with a 2" spring lift in the front otherwise stock. After 50,000. miles my Dueler AT's needed replaced. I bought some used rims and powder coated. well they offset out about 3-4" per side compared to oem rims. tires are a 285/70/16. I installed new tires on the diff. rims and had aligned. I can't even keep truck going down highway at 60 with out about crossing center line. it is all over the road. Is all this because of the wider offset? If i have to go back to original rims I will. The truck is not driveable like this, I look like a drunk going down the road, it will randomly go either left or right 2-3 feet. It droove lik…

I'm curious as to where you can get the overload springs cushions for my 3500. My dually seems to be missing them. Everytime I hit a bump you can hear the overload springs slap the stops, as it is metal to metal. From the Galaxy S3

My neighbor is selling his 2001 3500...I put a injection pump and lift pump in it for him a couple of weeks ago...While I was test driving I noticed the A/C was not working...I tried giving it a charge with one of those quick charge bottles, with the built in gauge in it. There was a low charge, I brought it up to spec for the temperature. But it still is not blowing cold. I also noticed that the compressor is kicking off and on rather quickly, It builds pressure fairly quick, then kicks off right away...which is common if there is a low charge....Thinking maybe the high pressure switch is bad? Any other ideas?? Thanks

Tried to look over some old discussions but cant find what I'm looking for. 99 24 valve with auto. Stock with about 150K on it. Sat for a few yrs till I started running it. Been doing ok, then started to "hick-up" or lope on me. Sitting idle or under power on road. Cant seem to understand. It'll just puff two three times in row. Expected it was a dirty injector. When I firsted started to run it 2 yrs ago I installed a draw straw plumbed into factory lines. Everything was good. I expected this was a dirty injector, started to treat with inj. cleaner. The "burps" kept getting worse to suddenly not starting after sort ride (warm). Ofcourse I expect no the lift pump, so I jus…

I have an Autometer fuel pressure gauge for my Cummins that constantly loses pressure the more I drive it. I seem to have a air leak and I have tightened every single connection. My T connector is between my lift pump and my fuel filter, is the best place for my T??I have a isolator on it. Fuel flows into a piece of equipment I bought with my gauges........so there is no actual fuel coming into the truck via the gauge.Should my T for my fuel be after the fuel filter?????

  11. I noticed a little growl out of my power steering pump today. Checked the fluid and it was low and added some to it quit the little growl I was hearing. I have also noticed it growl a little on start up in the cold part of the winter. It always went away after warm up. How do you check the pump to see if it is going bad? I have also noticed some oil driping from that area and was thinking the seals are going bad. When I get home I am replacing the tappet cover gasket and will have that side of the engine pretty clear. Since I am going to be in there that deep I would not mind doing what ever I need to wile I have it apart.I have seen mentioned here before about a rebuild …

My fold down cupholders that I just took out of the truck had a little light that clipped into the top but im wondering if the map pocket I just replaced it with has a light too? There is a small square hole towards the top but I dont remember unhooking a light and I cant find one dangling behind the dash of the donor truck.

My issue started about a month ago. Up until last month i was able to Idle the truck with the A/C on with no problems of humidity within the cab. I am having the issue of not being able to cool the cab. The A/C clutch is working because i hear that thing engaging a block away:lol:. I start to drive the truck around and A/C comes back and starts pushing cold air again. Has anybody had this problem?

Well headed to the tire store today to get my trailer tire fixed and I come up on a lady at her mailbox on the left side of the road. Just as I get there she makes a hard left turn and came right across the road in front of me. I almost missed her by sliding up her drive way. No major damaged though and every one is unhurt. Her bumper caught my tire and ripped open. Got a little fender damage and my new taillight is broken. Anyway, my tires are about shot. I was waiting to buy some new ones when i got home, but now I have to do something. I have got my spare, it is the oe and almost new. How bad is it to run on new tire and 3 old ones. I have heard running differant diame…

Failed inspection today due to left hub bearing. I've been looking at RA.com and other sites, but can't seem to find a listing for a 4whl abs hub... Are they not abs-specific, like the 2001 was?

So, my '97 3500's airbag light is on. I assumed it was the clockspring, as that is a common issue that I've experienced in the past. I ordered a new one, and it arrived yesterday.Last night, I pulled the steering wheel. Low and behold, the clockspring was trashed..So, I replaced it with the new one.Started the truck up, AIRBAG light comes on, then goes out!!...Then came back on and stayed on.. :mad:Dagnabbit.. I need this fixed so I can get the truck inspected.. I printed off the wiring diagram, and the device components are pretty straight-forward:control moduleleft sensorright sensorclockspringdash lightIIRC, the airbag is 2ohm resistance.. Can anyone verify t…
