I recently had to replace my steering box due to a broken output shaft. Put a upgraded Borgeson steering box on the truck that I got used for a good price. Worked fine on the truck it came off of. Ever since the brake pedal has been really hard to push initially, then when it gets past the hard spot in the pedal, the brakes seem to almost lock up and toss you into the dash. The steering assist is almost non existant at idle. The assist goes away completely when using the brakes. Steering acts completely normal driving down the road but the brake problem is still present. Just installed a new Borgeson power steering pump on to replace the old one per their recommendation. …

My truck (1997) just started to have the death wobble only while braking. I only does it sometimes. The first time it did it the wobble was bad. There was no slight vibration that has built over time. I did recently replace tires. Do you have any words of wisdom?

I recently pulled the bed off my truck to replace the brake line that runs between the tank and the frame. After I reinstalled the bed and connected the lights I have no tail lights, and my dash won't illuminate when I turn the head lights on. I do have brake lights, turn sigs. and back up lights. All the fuses seem to be good. Any suggestions? Thanks

My A/C, when left on after I cut the the truck off and restart it, sometimes resumes in the defrost mode and then after moving the truck, it will return to the normal mode for Max Air. It will not return to the Max Air mode by just rotating the dial. Please advise.

I been having an issue with my brake and ABS light coming on after I had to drain my fuel filter on the highway cause my WIF came on. Didn't have any tubing on me to guide the fuel away from dropping straight down so some water and diesel leaked on the diff. I am thinking I might of shorted out the front ABS sensor but I honestly can't locate them. Does anyone have a picture of where they are? Or some guidance on where I should be looking for them at? I have a '96 CCLB 12v if any more info is needed please let me know. *I checked the rear ABS sensor and that one is good Also to add to it, I can no longer shift into 4wd assuming it is cause of the ABS situtatio…

Hi all! I have an issue thats been bothering me. Every now and then my ABS will activate. At first I thought I hit loose stones or an oil patch but that's not the case. Does it pulling a trailer or not and I switched to a new brake controller that's supposed to be ABS friendly. Sometimes I can make it happen by pushing very lightly on the pedal. If I push hard on the pedal it will go away. It only seems to do it at the very begining of the pedal travel when I push down lightly. I'm thinking the sensor in the rear axle but during my search it seems the speedometer usually goes wacko if that goes bad. My speedometer is fine. Anyone have any ideas? :shrug:Thanks

Also my fan clutch (Acdelco) is about 10 months old and she just went south. Bought a new clutch today and it is made by Hayden, anybody ever heard of them? And cost was 120.00 plus tax

I have a centrifuge that uses a small air pump to push the oil up to the fitting going through the oil fill cap. I also have a edge juice that has a turbo cool down timer i have set at 300. I have the pump set to key on power from inside on the aux circuit. That is dead when the cood down is working with the key off. I was thinking i could move the power which energizes a relay for the pump to come off the alt but am unsure if the alt has a dc power signal that is only active when the eng is running so it will turn off the pump after the eng stops turning but stay on with the key off and end running so the centrifuge will continue workng while it is cooling down.Thank…

First off this is mainly for a 98 Grand Cherokee. Haivng done the heater core and evap in it in time for winter, I had to wait to refill the AC. Which of course I am almost certain the heater core started leaking again. Same symptoms as before. Got the core from rockauto. Aluminum one with a type of crimped on line. Doing research others have said the lines has a good amount of resistance to them to turn. Well mine didnt. would almost spin on there own just by gravity. Of course after the jeep is back together. How this relates: During searching on trying to get the AC working in my truck, and seeing Mike's heater core pics, My 01 Ram the the 98 Gran Cherokee use the sam…
