Well the process of improving/repairing my 2000 is well on its way. I installed my Frantz filter, Psc steering stabilizer and a luke's link kit on my end link. Wow... what a huge difference in steering feel! I would like to thank Mike again for setting up the deal for the franz filter and also your bracket setup. I basically copied your bracket arrangement except I made mine a litte longer so it goes to the bottom of the battery tray. Now for the ball joints, Kyb monomax shocks on all four corners, install my airdog150 and then finally my edge juice/ w attitude.... Should keep me busy...

I've been doing some shopping for an exhaust system but not sure what to get. I have a buddy with a 2nd gen 24 valve that built his own 5" and just put in a muffler from a big truck. Sounds really awesome but he complains about having a bad drone in the cab. Another friend has a 3rd gen with a 4" system (not sure what brand it is) and he complains about the drone too. The cab drone is my biggest concern since I do some fairly heavy pulling and I don't want to have to wear ear plugs:lol:

I'm in the process of getting my parts together to fab up a compuond setup. Top turbo is a HE351. I picked up a HT3B for the low pressure turbo. I thought it was a 26cm exhaust housing. Turned out to be a 32cm. Questoin is this. With a set of 150 sticks do you guys think the 32 will light? Or should I just start looiking for a 26/27 cm housing? How bad do you think this wild lag used as a 32? You can see my current mods in my sig. Thanks

OKHey - sorry - I have posted 'similar' post before but keep going round in circles as I have no idea what I am talking about. Narrowed down to Edge Juice with Attitude -as it taps the Vp44 Pros - seems very responsive and powerfulCons - might blow my stocktransmission TS MVPProds - plug and play and up to 100HP [supposedly]Cons - if at 100HP could still do tranny damage - can I really get 100HP without tapping the VP44 Smarty Pros - good timing advance and good reviews - increase MPG ?Cons - will I feel it ? Will it give me extra MPG ? Doesn't Tap the VP44 thoughts/ratings ??then I need to BUY this thing !!! Any1 got any to sell second hand ?? thanks

I'm sure everyone here knows what a CAI (Cold Air Intake) is... designed to draw cooler outside air into the engine instead of warm / hot underhood air. This is argueably desireable in summer when the under hood temp climbs outta sight. These thoughts carry over from our experience with gassers and I'm not at all sure they directly apply to a compression fired engine (diesel)... especially a turbo-charged intercooled diesel. Any rate the OEM air box is plumbed into the fender which draws cold air from behind the headlight... Atmittedly not a huge passageway but a CAI. Just a general reminder, that diesels "fire" from the heat of compression. A turbo adds tempera…

Hi everyone, I have read alot of posts here and on CF trying to put together the "best" mods to my truck that I think fit my needs. Before I pull the trigger I want to run it by you and make sure I am headed in the right direction. My truck is a 2000 3500 Dually two wheel drive with an automatic tranny. It has 173,xxx miles on it. Previous owner put 65 horse injectors in it, plugged the wastegate, K&N air filter, 4 inch exhaust turbo back, and a new stock lift pump. I've read these trucks will go for 700,000 + and I'm going to have to try because I can't afford a newer model! Besides the occasional trip around town I put a 4K pound Lance 11'6" truck bed camper in t…

I was looking a lower turbo to build a twins set up. came across a unit with this info ST-5 Turbo Kit, Manufacturer Part Number:3032077-RX. Can anyone tell me what it is and would it be any good combined with a he351? http://rover.ebay.com/ar/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpt=1005480619&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336116747&toolid=10001 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3D10%26ps%3D63

Well so far I'm pleased with the injectors. I've seen to have a very slight miss that is very very mild and rare to occur. But so far I'm enjoying the +2 MPG increase to the fuel mileage. I'm now able to touch 21 MPG with winterized fuel in Idaho... Never done that before... But I got to admit you must be careful with the new found power that comes with the injectors. On wet or icy pavement things can horribly wrong quick.

Thought I would ask the masses out there what would be the best route to take on my truck if all I am looking for is long term reliability, with enough horsepower to pull a camp trailer over a hill. Not interested in burning the tires off, or doing wheelies. Just want to put the modifications on that will give me the best bang for my buck in terms of mileage and performance. I started on the 2 cycle oil, and know I need to get a fuel pressure gauge to go along with my idiot light. Don't know anything about the Edge or tuning packages that you guys use, but want to make sure that I don't buy myself a headache trying to get a few more horsepower. Only had the truck for 6 mo…

Well first off I would like to thank Cajflynn for the wonderful donation of his used RV275 injectors, which happen to show up in todays mail. i'll get some pics up soon... In the mean time I'm going to gather up a few supplies for installing them. Does anyone know where I can get copper shims and fresh O-rings for these??? Holy Cow!!! I looked up the numbers on the injector and... 0432193635 / 4183 Comes back as either a RV275 or a 300 HP injector... Still much better than stock! http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=60&stc=1&d=1260397958 http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachm…

Got to Mobil, they say they are the best. Go to Rotella, they say they are the best. Go to Amsoil, they say they are the best. Go to .... Well, you get the picture. What is THE BEST oil for our trucks? Not just the engine, I'm talking the engine, trans, rears and anything else that has a little puddle of lubricant in it. I have been running Amsoil 15-40 since the new engine, but cringe when it's time to change. - What are the benefits of synthetic vs. dino? - What is the best dino? - What is the best synthetic?
