Summer is here... Please people slow down. I'm listening to the fire radio yesterday while cutting firewood. Riggins EMS was paged out to a roll over vehicle accident. Seem like everyone is in a hurry and passing with on coming traffic which now becomes a game of chicken and loser ends up in the ditch rolled over. I was lucky a few days ago as well coming home driving my typical ol' slow self I'm glad I was because the same thing happen to me I had a semi-truck passing in my lane force me off the shoulder of the road. Please people be safe and slow down there is nothing in the world that require high speed.

Well Gang... I spent Father's Day with a friend in the woods cutting firewood for 2 days. I figure I share a picture of my haul. This is 2 full trees this load. Yesterday we did 4 smaller trees for a full load. But this is the heaviest load.

Be nice to compare........ On my 2002 24 valve 3/4 ton I'm paying $352 for full coverage every 6 months. Is that a good rate? Clean driving record no accidents or fender benders. T.I.A.

Last weekend was MoPaRs in the Park in Minnesota. Saturday started out nice but around 12:30 I bailed when the first drops started to come down. Sunday was a complete bust weatherwise. Adverts said over 3000 MoPaR's registered. Here are a few pics (sorry for the fuzz on the side...fingerprint on the cell..D-oH!) ME: the rest of the trucks (most at least) some cars:

Toyota Camry vs. Logging truck (Unloaded). The Toyota Camry had 3 young adults college age which appeared to be heading back toward Montana. I'm not certain what happen but the Toyota drift over the double yellow line and met the logging truck head on. This wiped out the front axle of the logging truck and he drifted down the guard rail to the turn off at Rainbow Bend road. The Toyota was bounced off the logging truck and thrown back to the East side of the highway. All I can say is everyone in the Toyota took on serious injuries. Please people, slow down. Pay attention to what your doing while your driving your vehicle.

I just seen the PBO's initiative of furthering CO reduction, another 30%. The talking head on TV said the Chinese, Indian, and European communities are watching closely to 'make sure' WE are 'pulling our weight'. ........... Really????........ Chinese give a dang about what WE put in the air??? Or would there be a mandate on the amount of rubber dog crap being shipped in from the other side of the world... to help with CO emissions! ............maybe they are concerned on how 'we' are treating 'their' investment/interests????.........

My son races dirt track and we were talking the other day about the cost of race fuel. Any way his motor is not real high in compression somewhere about 160 psi. I made the comment that we used to run airplane fuel in our hot rods back in the day we just went to the airport and top off with 110 octane. You get about 50/50 from people who say no you cant run aircraft fuel it will hurt your eng. and you here people say I been running it for years with no problem. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Think we had a little wind last night... Came home last night from spending the afternoon with friends, turned around the corner and saw the majority of the fence was on the ground Dogs were Very good though, as always stayed in the yard ... It was minor damage compared to others and I am very grateful Called the landlord and he promptly brought over 4x4's and helped me put up the first 2 20' sections but then he had to split. So while waiting for one of my bestest buddies "Floyd Lloyd Manual Labor" (as I like to call him) , I dropped most of the 4x4's and saw that my neighbor had large limb across her driveway, So, since I already had my chain saw out I deci…

This may get little long winded.... I'm supposed to go down to Spokane today and chew a car lot owners a$$ out for taking advantage of my in-laws... So, the chevy truck they own, apparently has problems. Some of you may remember I brought up a thread about trying to fix it as it was getting poor fuel mileage and throwing codes. Well, they took it to a shop and it turned out to be the intake manifold gaskets. Okay, easy enough, lets get it fixed! Oh wait, now the transmission is going out? Thats debatable... So they insist on going out and trying to get a different vehicle.. fine, its your life. I try to warn them about getting a vehicle and that they NEED to t…
