I'm in Rhode Island... about a mile from Ct line. It looks like the eye will miss us. There is no way the storm will miss us.We are high here, in the woods. Likely we'll lose power & communications. We are planning to spread our vehicles around, so no single tree fall can wipe out them all. The little generator I bought is running fine but my big Honda 6500 generator won't stay running. Too late now to get it serviced. We have the camper with it's gas appliances, a gas grill, a gas 2 burner hot plate. Just want to vent about this, cause honestly it boiled my blood a bit. I have been in the same line of work for 11 years. I am a chef. For sometime I was doing 2 full time jobs cause my wife lost hers. We made it but barely. I have two kids, well dressed and fed. I don't receive any assistance from the government, do not owe taxes, have no delinquent bills or bad credit. Sister went off to a big university specializing in engineering stuff so I took up the opportunity, told work I had better things to do, and went to the library there, which was practically a mall. I went straight to the engineering section that had to do with dynamics. First one is called design of machinery. As the title says I am in need of designing a schedule for 5 day work week 2 shifts 10 hour each.4 mechainics,2 welders and 2 electricians per shift, 1 supervisor to rotate with each shift and work 4 10's as well with 2 fill in supervisors "One of which may be 1 of the 8 workers on that shift to make it even more difficult" to fill in for regular supervisors1 day per week per shift off. need it to work out so all will work 40 hours a week and there will always need to be a minimum 3 mechanics and 1 each electrician and welder scheduled for all 5 days.I think a rotating day off every week is the most fair way also, example would be monday off this week next week one woul…

I'm sorry but I have to vent. I just learn on the news someone is pushing for a bill to be passed to extend a civil rights for poor people to get free cell phones. FREE cell phones ?Ain't nothing free. It appears everyone that has a cell phone would have a tax added to their cell bills to support this. I took the parents to Nashville on Wednesday, so they could enjoy a few days of vacation with my brother and sister, since they went to Pigeon Forge, Tn without me!:cry: Nashville was the half way point to meet! So we (the parents an I) were cruising along and we stopped for a restroom break at a lil conveince store! While waiting my turn to use the restroom, I was walking around the store and found Bad Byron's Butt rub, for cooking boston butts! I looked at it, and took the picture! Sent it to a few female friends an asked if it the saying of their slogan was true, an if I could try it out! Well needless to say I have received some funny responses!:lmao:

Started my day out spraying the first vineyard, completed that. Did the second vineyard and about 3/4 way done and look down at my feet and I have hydraulic fluid all over my feet. Stop the tractor, tear it down and go and get a 50 cent o-ring. Put the tractor back together and a bolt snaps for my 3 point hitch hydraulics. Tear the tractor down again and use an easy out to get the bolt out and it snaps inside the drill hole. :cry: I am done for the day! Problem is when I wake up in the morning I still have a BIG problem to fix!
