  • I am seeing it as a 4333N  national.    Found that in a Timken cross reference catalog.  I attached a copy.   Search for 4333N.  you will find a GM and chrysler cross.  HTH Hag NSCO

No no leak just had to pull the drive shaft for joint replacement, if you have a leak check for drive line vibration. Plugged transfer case vent. Or play in tail shaft of tc

  • Unfortunately leaking tail shaft seals are common.  I've been through a few and I still get a slight weep.

use the part number lookup too.  or the np241 dhd rebuild.  DHD will have a pto cover dld will not.

Part number lookup

You are talking about item # 1 correct?

NP241DHD.jpg

Edit:

Well maybe not  I have PN :  04746258 too.  both PN's look to work for 1500, 2500, 3500 according to the part nunmber too though.

looks like Quad4x4 says

04746258 is for dld

04741920 is for DHD after 1998.  So something happened in 1998 that changed.

04746258  is the mopar Part number.  Can you just give that to whoever you are getting the seal from?

Can you simply remove yours and take it with you to cross compare?

You weren't by any chance having a leak were you? I currently have a leak right at the output seal on my DHD. Not sure if changing the seal will fix the problem or not.  FSM states.....
