So after just picking up a smarty, I got to wondering if I should just look into getting a TST and being done with it.

I know quad is the go to tuner around here for its ability to tune out smoke and get any one setup to run great. But if someone doesn't want to test and tweak setting to get them just right, is the smarty stack still a good one?

Pros/cons?

  • Hey!! Be nice some of us slow. I know I am.

  • different pumps man.  I would highly suggest running around on the edge for a bit and see what happens.  The "baseline" mpg number you are going off of is really not comparable to what you have now.

  • Simply stating that I would not classify the Smarty s03 as set it and forget it from what I am seeing in your guys testing.  there is a lot of testing that goes into it as well.   thats it, not to say

I still have my Smarty & the TST COMP. Was going to trade for a quad, but just couldn't do it.

This stack is to much fun to get rid of. Cruise control does not work on mine either. No big deal to me.

Currently running SW7,TM3,Timing4 & Duration 1. if I TRY ANY OTHER DURATION ,THERE IS NO BLUE SKY LEFT.

To me the Duration should be the smoke SWT. Not the TM that was mentioned earlier in this thread.

My set up is pretty well the same as Tyler's was.

Still trying to gain back my high MPG number like with my old stockish injectors and dirty Edge Comp. So far I'm still about 3 to 4 MPG lower with my current setup.

I like Nicks suggestion. There is something about the replacing pumps and they never seem to deliver after.
