Guess what? lol I'm still alive...... Had a few things change in my life so now maybe I will be here a bit more often. Just a bit of info, wife and I sold our house about a year and a half ago so we have been full timing in our RV since. We upgraded to a 38' fiver last year and even upgraded from my 1996 2500 to a 2005 3500 CTD auto dually! Believe it or not it only had 88k miles on it! This is what my new (to me) ride looks like.

congrats on the changes and adventure in life. I have friends that moved into thier 5th wheel and saved enough money to buy a home without a mortgage. :thumb1:

hope you don't mind my sayin this, but I'd probably remove the aftermarket fender flares and side steps. I think it would look a whole lot better. It is a fantastic find though. It's like new.

Sweet looking ride. You might want post up the RV too.

The P-pump man finally jumped ship and went to the Common Rail Cummins.

So you finally bailed out of Minnesota too? Found some warmer weather as well.

Yea, I finally updated my truck a little...... My '96 was getting to where it was leaving a trail of cab parts (rust) and I never did get the brakes like they should be, plus the rear end was getting in tough shape. 330k miles and 22 years old I guess that happens, PLUS I had the transmission out of it three times in the last few years. Once for the input shaft, 1300 miles later because the transmission shop pt the wrong pump bushing in and it took out the pump seal and scored the snout on the converter, then I exploded the planetaries in the OD. Still have no idea how I managed that one......

I am in east Texas right now then we (wife and I) are heading to the hill country in west Texas fora month or so. We are suppose to be back in Minnesota by about the first of June for Dr. appointments. Thinking of Arizona next winter and maybe Alaska next summer!

That's what the plan is. My wife has not been west other than when I took her to Athol, ID in the semi and when we went to Yellowstone. I really want to get back to Utah too!

Good to see you are still with us. Very nice truck. Enjoy your travels. It is good to see the rambling avatar again.

If you make it to Idaho let me know I'll have a cold beer with you.

I plan on it! I would like to show my wife what it is like to come up US93 into Twin Falls so she can see what the bridge is like over the Snake River. It's probably been 34 years or so since I have crossed it, but I still remember it!

That's the bridge I remember!! Can't wait to see some of that stuff again!

Is there a fuel filter that fits in the stock container that filters down to 3 microns?
