Rock Auto has a brand new, not reman, vp44? Is this right? For $2200? I think mine is toast and am looking at pumps.

I have had good luck with remans, CPP Diesel or DAP always has good deals. I wouldn't dream of spending that much on a vp44... 1k to 1.2k tops. Even at that point I'd still question a P7100 conversion..

Something aint right. Either the pump is upside or the wrong one. There is no PSG on top of it in the picture. I would check into it more. Give them a call.

Vulcan Performance and DAP are the only two I'll buy from. DAP sells both Midwest and Industrial injection pump. Vulcan sells industrial. Both Industrial Injection and Midwest Injection are Bosch certified rebuilders.

Obviously it would vary depending on who you bought from and which exact pump you got but you get the idea.

Maybe its a VE pump?

Pump is upside down.  Can see the brass housing for the timing piston on the wrong side.  Why they took the picture like that, I have no idea.
