Does anyone have any advice on tunning my vp44, I can not get the lag out of anything I try I do have big injectors, but a pretty well matched turbo, anything I try the power is coming in way to late. Thanks

It’s has a borg sxe363/68/14wg 150hp Vco injectors with the quad obviously, I have all supporting mods and am trying to make a fun race tune, cannot get the lag out off the bottom, could my vco injectors be a issue with fueling being so late.

 

what tune are you running?

 

With the quad you can make a tune that is more aggressive than anything else out there or make it so lazy that the truck wont drive.

Your canbus fuel is ramping up way to slow to have bottom end power, jmo

Try adding %15 to the canbus across hte board.

Also a big injector tune is suited to someone with 7 x .012s or bigger.  150 hp injectors are really a mid sized injector.  

 

That's why your tune is so lazy.   

 

If you look at the mid injector race tunes they would be much better suited to 150 hp injectors.  

The tune you are running is close to my tune for 7x.012 and high altitude.  Add some fuel, especially after 3-5 psi and you will be happier.

One more question I have a edge insite monitor can I run that on the obd port or would that damage anything ?

As long as it's not like smarty where it modifies ecm signals and just monitors, you should be fine. A lot of times I forget my obd link in obd port for a month. 

yes you can, just understand that your boost reading for the insight will not be correct beyond 16 psi.

Okay so mine is a cts2 monitor and from what I understand it needs the juice connection to pick up readings. How could I make this tuner work for monitor readings and no performance?

It can be a pain i when I need to use my phone and have to keep discounting from the WiFi Because my phone won’t load when it’s connecting to the quad 

Don't use your phone get a 2nd device. 

 

Ios version sucks because Ios devices are so pricey, but it is never a good idea to use your phone for this reason.
