I have used a 150-amp fuse on the last three W-T mods I have done and want to try a circuit breaker on the next one.   So my question is which 150 amp circuit breaker did you use that is trouble free and where did you get it.

  • I just picked one up at O’Rielys. Whatever brand they sell. Have had zero issues.

  • This customer can push a reset button but can't turn a wrench there for a circuit breaker not a fuse if that's what you're referring too.

How many fuses have blown compared to faulty/weak circuit breakers? 6 of one, half dozen of another I guess. If the circuit breaker goes bad their stuck. If a fuse blows, someone can put the replacement in for them. Just my thoughts.

You have a point.  Thinking a little deeper, if the fuse blows the alternator might just be junk, shorted to ground, and they're not going anywhere anyway.

What did you pay for that breaker? I might have to replace mine on Beast. Next time I'm down I'll have to snag one.
