Rifle, 409 yards in the Frank Church Wilderness area. (The day I shot him was a 9.5 mile and 4100 vertical day)

Amazing. 400 yards is impressive too. Well definitely post a pic when you get it back from the taxidermy shop, I bet that is going to be an impressive wall hanger.

VERY nice looking bull. Congratulations! How did you get him packed out??? That looks like at least 700 - 900 lbs. of animal. What did you take him with?

I was cleaning off the camera card and found a few more shots!

Only 6ish more months till I get it back from the taxidermist...

Sorry, missed these questions before. We have horses to help us pack. I shoot a 300 H&H. I am pushing 200 gr Swift A-Frames at 3,010 fps. I figure he was about 500-525 on the hoof. Hanging weight was ~375 lbs. Add 50 for hide, 50 for guts and 25-50 for incidentals...
