Well gang... Just like the title says I ran away from home and got into hot water... Hot spring that is. I took a short trip and spend the night over at Kirkham Hotsprings in southern Idaho. http://www.idahohotsprings.com/destinations/kirkham/ Here is camp... post-2-138698180045_thumb.jpg So now wonder down the trail to the hotsprings... Look at the pretty blue waters of Idaho... post-2-138698180076_thumb.jpg Just below is the falls where you enjoy the hot water... post-2-138698180053_thumb.jpg But I started wondering how hot the water was right out of the ground... Just a bit to hot to play with! :stuned:post-2-138698180061_thumb.jpg So we enjoyed the hotsprings and desided to look at another spot... So MoparMom and Diesel played in the river. post-2-138698180067_thumb.jpg So we got tired and came back to camp and enjoyed the sunset with the smoke in the air from a local forest fire... post-2-138698180085_thumb.jpg

:cookoo: Not Me... I won't wear those things... :stuned:

I have driven by there many times and never stopped... One of our favorite springs is Loftus off of the Middle Fork of the Boise.

One day I am going to just show up on Mike's door step and see if he will give me a tour of the place. And if nothing else there is a lot to see on the way.:thumb1:

Go anyway where in Idaho there is water flowing. Most of the highways follow a river or stream of some sort. Even AH64ID can tell you that... Just across the highway from me is the Little Salmon River. I'll admit the water flow is down everywhere but there is always water flowing Idaho.

Water flow is down? It's only been a month since I have been in the hills, but I thought it was quite high all summer?

Here is the local river...

But still above average, which was what I was getting at...

Unfortunately they don't have any meters on most the rivers we camp on... This is the closest, but we haven't camped there since April.
