Please fill out your signature, so that we (as a whole) can better serve you ;)If you're talking 24V, I'd guess about an hour or two, having not done it, but pulled my valve cover this past weekend, and eye-balled them.12V, probably an hour, as you don't have to pull the valve cover, nor mess with crossover tubes.

I think it took me about 3 hours. Idid take off the injector lines and claean them up while I was in there. It was my first time so I did not hurry.

I have done it in as little as 1 hr but like to take about 2 and not rush. I never removed my injector lines either.

How can you remove injectors with lines and tubes still attached? I thought the transfer tubes would be severly damaged if not removed or at least pulled out some.

Im sorry, I should have been more clear. I remove the lines from the injectors and back the tubes out a little but I dont remove the lines from the head or the pump. If its your first time to do them, then I would get new o-rings for the connector tubes too.

yep got them already, so you just bend the tubes out of the way, does that make them hard to line up after?

Remove the 4 or 5 8mm bolts holding the lines to the head and then you have a little wiggle room. I dont bend the lines but just put a little pressure on them and they will move. Back the tubes out with a small flat screwdriver and then pop out the injectors. Thread a valve cover bolt into the injectors and pop them out with a pair of bent head needle nose pliers. You only have to remove the 8mm injector hold down bolt that is closest to the exhaust valve ( one on the left).

make sure to loosen up the blue lock connectors so that your lines can go back together without scratching up the ends. When in doubt watch my video in the 24v section in the articles area.

Yes i have watched mopars and another on youtube from the cummins forum. Thanks.

that was probably my videos, loli say its best to pull the lines off completely, since i have seen other people have issues with their lines not sealing properly afterwards.

Yes Pepsi i believe it was. Well job went off with only minor problems like breaking loose the engine lift ring, and popping in the last injector as well as getting at that back line. But no leaks good clean job, sounds good, haven't really got on it, but was expecting a lil more punch from the rv275. I installed new Bosch injectors so i can keep my originals. Thanks for all the help guys, it was greatly appreciated.

You should notice rv275 in terms of power - but it's not like oh wow ... Just good balance of extra power and better mpg

I noticed a nice kick with mine. Almost as good as I got with the addition on the Banks system I installed. I dont know how much differance there is between the auto and the manual however.

Well i took it on a highway run, with comp on 5x5 and it was quick, but no smoke at all, but maybe that's because i have the comp on 5x5 all the time. im starting to think my injection pump just doesn't have what it takes. I do not want smoke but i did expect to have the need to turn the comp down. But that was just a 3/4 mile shot from one ramp to the other, i floored it on the ramp all the way to 80mph, then coasted a bit and exited. well at least it runs good.

I know the Edge Comp has a software bug. You might want to try setting all main levels to having a sublevel of 5 and try again. 1x5, 2x5, 3x5, 4x5, 5x5 Then set it to 5x5... What I've found is let say you set.4x1 and 5x5 and running 5x5 the 4x1 will pull down the 5x5 and make it run weak and doggy. But now switch to 4x1 increase it to 4x5 and then flip back to 5x5 it will roll with authority!!!
