I did not use my apps and im thinking that's why my cruise stopped working. Is there a way to trick the ecm into thinking I still have an apps? Perhaps a resistor stuffed into the apps plug?

Might have to convert back to VP44 to get your cruise back... :lol:Seriously I'm stumped unless the idle validation is not setting right and shown that its throttling or its the other theory of the error code putting the system into limp mode and disabling the cruise control till the error codes are fixed. So you might have to gut a 94-98 truck and get all its wiring for the PCM so you can get your cruise back. But this will play with the ECM and instrument panel too. Everything is based on CCD network.

Where the apps plugs into the apps housing, there is a slot that sticks inside it and is what is hooked to your throttle cable. I boogered the spring inside the apps up so I can turn it to any % I want without it returning back to 0%.
