  1. Yeah! But when you got finished installing the Allison 6-speed, Look what you would have. Anyome know where you can find one??
  2. Michael, It only happened when i would apply the brakes, say like at a stop light. the click or slapping noise was very pronounced and in time, like it was hitting in one particular spot
  3. Wheel bearings looked good when i inspected them during the brake rotor change. The funny thig is the noise is gone now. the ABS light seems to stay on a little longer now before it goes off, after the motor starts even.
  4. I just replaced the front Brakes, "rotors, calapiers, & pads, Left on a trip to New Mexico the Day after. I noticed a A LOUD clicking in the Drivers side front wheel at the first stop light in town. It continued to do this for about 3/4 of the way and then it quit. anything to worry about?? P/S did not have a torque wrench big enough to set torque on wheel nut, just torqued w/ 3/4 ratchet and pipe
  5. When i am running on the highway @ 45-60 mph with my edge att. box on 1 or 2, (do not have VP pump tapped) and push the pedal down even slightly it seams as if the trans or T/C is slipping. It feels exactly like a clutch slipping in a Manual Trans. mabe not as violent. does not do this running on stock level. T/C was replaced by local Cottman shop w/ what ever brand they carry, was suppost to be HD good for 800ft/lbs torque. Is this a T/C lock-unlock eletcrical issue???
  6. Well here is an Update to my oil spray issue I thought was comming from the CCV Tube. As it turns out most of it is comming form the CCV filter vent Housing. OK this problem stems back 2-months ago when i installed new injection pump, this is when i done the CCV design mod. from Michael's thread on Website. When I reinstalled the CCV Housing i noticed that when i tightened it to the original location {to where the stem for the hose connection was turned straight up} that it was not tight at all. when i would turn it to where it was snug the stem would be at 2:00 aclock position where i could not connect my vent hose. Yesterday i found where the oil was seeping from the bottom side of CCV housing, dripping down front cover where the fan was blowing it, "well you know the rest of the story, ALL OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE TRUCK" Now, in all my unique wisdom LOL, I desided i could tighten it a full 360 degree turn back to where the stem would be straight up. "DO I NEED TO TELL YOU ALL WHAT HAPPEN NEXT" I did not think so LOL. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CCV VENT THERE NOT USING
  7. Hey Thanks Cummins 2K & Michael.
  8. Have re-routed my CCV as in Mopar's pictures on Thread. i am getting a oil mist spray under trans & frame whats up with this?, Funny thing is it use's no oil between changes that i can tell. MOPAR TO THE RESCUE!
  9. Flat Twin, Your problem is your AD is sucking Air into the fuel system. This would be on the Suction side of the system, meaning behind the AirDog pump & between the Airdog & The Tank. the 2-most likely sources to check for air is the fittings. Now I just installed the exact same system (AirDog 100) on my truck approximatly 1-month ago. please start w/ that O.E.M Quick connect fitting because I recall when i removed my stock fuel line from fitting on tank that the plastic retainer clip stayed on the tank fitting & I had to clip it off w/ wire cutters. "THIS MUST BE REMOVED FOR THE AIRDOG CONNECTOR TO SEAL TO THE OEM TANK FITTING" check fitting on the supply line at the AD pump use thread sealent or permatex "RIGHT STUFF" silicone in white & black can, or Indian Head sealent its in a small brown bottle w/white cab & can be found at any NAPA. Any sealent will work as long as it is diesel & petrolium resistant. P/S I left my O.E.M. fuel/heater Canistor in place, I installed 1/2inch line between cansitor & VP pump.. No issue run great!!! Hope this will help!! :thumbsup
  10. I Got my BHAF Filter from carquest today & when i tried to install it i cannot make the hose fit the back of filter. Is there a pipe that must connect the two??????
