overflowing power steering fluid
Sounds like a good plan.

overflowing power steering fluid
I see no other reason for fluid level going up. Kinda like the old block mounted fuel pumps leaking gas into motor.

Valve seals
I watched your video. Looks like you'd need to have the piston in contact with the valves to do it. Sounds like they were contacting the workbench.
-
Valve seals
Only about 15,000 miles on injectors.
-
Valve seals
But then you're 3/4 the way towards removing the head. But I suppose that at 200k miles it wouldn't hurt to change head, intake and exhaust gaskets.
-
Valve seals
But that would mean removing the injectors.

Valve seals
Can the valve seals be replace without removing the head from the truck? Remove rocker arms and rotate engine to TDC for each cylinder and do them one at a time?

I'm becoming a Gideon!
I've been a Gideon now for a couple months. Bible distributions are awesome. If you ever want to be filled with the Holy Spirit, go on salvation works. I felt so full of the Holy Spirit following a distribution where 7 of us gave out 350 bibles to college students.

Mike will you please be more specific as to exactly what you want.
First off, short of the money we recieved through personal memberships we would have closed down the site. In fact Michael intended closing it and only due to screaming and donations from members we convinced him to keep it going and got a much needed new server. After the generousity of members we realize that we do need vendor sponsors to sustain us. Michael formed a board of directors to help make decisions and spread out the work load. We are sorry for the change up on you. If not for the action taken, we'd be gone. There are new levels of membership privileges based on amount given. If you still feel like you were "ripped off" we'd be happy to refund your donation. None of the changes were meant to make anyone feel taken advantage of. I think we are getting pretty close to a sustainable model. Sorry for the confusion.

Diamond eye exhaust
So it would mean ordering the Diamond eye system with the muffler delete and ordering an FTE resonator. All in 4".

Diamond eye exhaust
Consider purchasing from one of our vendors.

Fuel pump change, idling at 2500rpm
I'd also vote for resetting the TPS sensor before digging any deeper.

Emergency help
Your fuel pressure gauge should start to flutter as the pickup tube starts having trouble finding fuel. A small heads up of what's to come.

Wheels won't turn when sitting still
Is there stuff to wear out that wouldn't be addressed from this mod?

Spuratic fuel pressure
Wrong answer from fass. You should never drop below 14.

Other Generations of Dodge with loose - goose steering?
Sorry man. I've got a bad hip and it's hard for me to do much right now too. Did my front brakes last weekend and I'm paying for it now. Getting up and down is hardest for me. But I still intend keeping my truck forever. I might go to a 2003 stick shift someday though.

Other Generations of Dodge with loose - goose steering?
You can't be serious? Throw away your truck just because of steering issues? Look at all the other positives. Later 3rd Gen truck have made steering improvements. You can upgrade to some of their components. Track bar, etc..

Bleeding brakes
Yeah but you didn't get to hear them pop out. Just remember to keep your fingers clear
-
Bleeding brakes
Yep, I push mine in and out a few times after assembly to get brake fluid worked into the bores and seals. Use a thicker board to keep the pistons from coming clear out with compressed air. Apply brake fluid through the brake line hole and pop em. Love that sound! Amazing how much easier they move after rebuilding than before.

Bleeding brakes
I spent more time chasing tools than I did getting the calipers to the shop. One side original Torx47. Other side 7mm allen. Here is a picture of how nasty the one caliper was. I bet 200,000 miles on these. One side pads were down to metal, other side Pistons not moving and pads 3/4 left. Guy who I bought the truck from was good at changing pads, fluids but not digging much deeper.

Bleeding brakes
Got out a mirror. It's torx. Online looks like T45 or T47
-
Bleeding brakes
What the frick size are the caliper bolts? 7mm too small, 8mm too big, 1/4" a bit to small.
-
Bleeding brakes
Cause the rears were done a year ago.

Bleeding brakes
Yes. Drums would necessitate drum removal. I suppose worst case remove rear wheels on at a time .
