  6. You have to swap the harness and pcm if you are swapping transmissions. Been there swapped that.

  8. Check your engine fuse in the dash, Mine did this and there was a crack in the fuse.
  9. Nope i have to run the splitter. I have to use the clutch. floating is easier

  11. Well I had a few minutes today and so I did it. I .08 and E .015 HOT. I did notice right away it is quieter. I started it and free reved it did not drive it. I also have 5k springs so i dought i will see valve float. Time will tell.
  12. Thanks mike for the list of what the codes mean. It would seem as if i might have a SOVP44 heading south. I don't have any driveability problems. It runs fine. Where would a guy go from here? 230 I have a f.a.s.s????? 1765 is a mystery switch. I wonder if the 1689 has to do with the random no HI idle problem? I got to see if i can find someone with a smarty to wipe out the codes and see what comes back.
  13. I was running down the road last Wednesday and i Look down and the abs and brake lights were on. So i pulled codes today. 250 251 230 500 501 1689 1693 1765 I could see 1 code but all of these? Any ideas guys? thanks in advance.
  14. Thursday was the 1st time out of the yard. Upshifting was fine, downshifting was something else. I cant believe there is still gears in there. There was a lot of grinding going on. I went 4-5 miles Thursday. Today/Friday we got to go out for 20 mile drive on the back roads. All we did was get into 6-7-8-9 gear and downshift- up - down - up shift. I will say in 20 minutes i got a whole lot better and i still have to work on it but its not to bad once you get the feel of it.
  15. If you want lower egts, get your self some compound turbos. Egts will be a thing of the past.

  17. I hope this helps..... I have one my self. here is a truck pull straight piped. Never mind the breakage at the end, both rear axles snapped here is one with the FTE 17" resonator.

  21. next time i do valve lash im going to set it at .08 and .15 it is suppose to spool up 100rpm sooner.
  22. I already tryed that. I sent it in to quad and they said it was fine. Sent it back and it still didn't work so i tossed it on my Buddy's truck ( he also has a quad) and it works on his truck. My truck has a gremlin.
