Thanks for the update Son! Passed the word to the locals who are asking about you. Jag, the mountains are still beautiful & a river is running through it......we're just pretty smoky, but we're still safe & sound. We've been very blessed by God & He has His arms around us. Love Rosalie, Mopar's Mom

We are calm & peaceful inside as we deal with this fire. We're both doing what we need to do each day. Michael has the fireline and I have the home front. We don't see very much os one another and have limited time to talk. Michael came in at 9pm last night and he was asleep by 9:30. We're up at 5am and he is on the fireline by 6:30. There are people that are listening to emergency scanners & causing all sorts of rumors/gossip that really does not help our firefighters. Refugees from Kamish & Koostie,Id., fires are being brought into Riggins & New Meadows, Id. If & when I have to leave for New Meadows if the fire advances in this direction...I'll be helping with the relocation of these refugees. Right now I'm trying to find out how many people are in wheelchairs, or will need EMS assistance. Getting names of people that will help in the moving. We may be small communities....but we come together when the need arises. Michael & I have the strongest faith in Our Lord....this faith grows even stronges when put to the test. Say some prayers for us and hold us in your hearts. Apples are falling off the trees and the deer are eating them and drinking from the pond....see how God provides!! Gotta get dressed & outside to clear some more of the ridge behind the house. Weed wacking is getting to be a landscape art for me....Love Moparom

The temperature here is 75 and falling. We are experiencing rain, hail, and flash flood warnings. Michael is on a Search&Rescue assignment in the White Water Wilderness area at about 6000 feet. Very rugged terain and the weather is working against them. Do not know how many the search is for but they have been missing for over 24 hours. Up there it can get cold. Say a prayer for all. First of all...if you ever get the opportunity to meet Jag you will find yourself in the company of a very humble, compassionate, loving human being. You will enjoy his company and want him to return as he fit so comfortable in your home. Spending time with him is rewarding to say the least. He is just relaxing to be around and an asset to your life. He is truly your friend!!!! Yes my Michael gave him a quick Idaho million dollar tour and hit all the mountain peaks. He even took him to our favorite restaurant in Grangeville, Id where he was insulted, picked on by the owner (that is her way with the locals) and publicly embarassed by the whole dining room. Jag sprang into verbal action and fired back at her. He loved the experience. The two of them kept running back and forth, in and out of he garage, and up and down Hwy 95. Now it is a truth that my Michael fixed his truck but I call your attention back to the Doves of Peace the Jag spent 2 days working on for me. He selected the perfect wood for the crosses and made sure the stain was exactly perfect. His was a labor of spiritual love and it hangs in our home as a constant reminder of Jag. He is a Master carpenter. So you see....the favors were returned.
  6. Go to Goodwill and buy a pair of size 14-16 men’s work boots. Place them on your front porch, along with a copy of Guns & Ammo Magazine. Put four giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazines. Leave a note on your door that reads …… Bubba, Me and Marcel, Donnie Ray and Jimmy Earl went for more ammo. Be back in an hour. Don’t mess with the pit bulls. They got the mailman this morning and messed him up bad. I don’t think Killer took part, but it was hard to tell from all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of ‘em in the house. Better wait outside. Be right back. Cooter.

This is not a digital baby. He does not get here in 3.9 seconds like a computer......he's a precious cargo that God will deliver when ready. Your task is to be patient and PRAY! So pace back & forth, pray and let this little fella take his first breath..What a super time to witness his birth. Love MM with prayers.
  8. Love country music and I love you for the song......perfect!!!!!!!
  9. from an email: He almost didn't see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her. Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her ? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm ? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson." Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid. Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "And think of me." He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan. After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you." Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it ? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard... She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."
  10. A gentle snow fell in our canyon here in Idaho last night and only the babble of the river interrupted the silent night. This is a very spiritual time for all of us and it is important that we take some time to pray. We need to bend our knees before Him and acknowledge His birth and what it represents to us. Take some time to make a spiritual pilgrimage to Him in your heart and soul. Pray for all the veterans who have given their lives that we may still have the freedom to worship Him in this great land. Put your arms around your loved ones and never let them go....they are God's gift to you. Merry Christmas from Michael & Rosalie
  11. October 26th and Michael turned 44......Happy Birthday Son! With love always Mom

Michael is still sleeping....he fought a "hot damn" chimmney fire last night from 10pm-3am this morning. He'll fill in details later. In the mean time we're pouring down rain here. Peace Moparmom
  13. May I add another side to this issue that you can consider. I study economics, trends, marketing, etc., and the young man of today is not spending $20,000 on a wedding, ring, or getting set to purchase a new house with a huge mortgage. That "traditional" life style is not for him. Neither is ABC,CNN,FOX news. He is connected by phone to his "friends" and get the real truth from them. They tell him about their student loans, how hard it is to make ends meet, job, wife, and kid problems. He listens to them all around the world. So the young men of today is ditching a compact car (too traditional) and is headed to a truck so he can travel light, be more normadic, go where the jobs are turning up, get out of the way of weather disasters and in general, not be tied down to anything or anyone. It will take 10 - 15 years for this trend to expire. So the price of a diesel is reflected by this surge. Fixing up an old truck and selling it will be profitable as a side hobby if you can so it. The young man of today is influenced more by his phone-media friends then advertisements. This is his life line. Another trend that is roaring to life is in NY. Take Long Island, Staten Island, for example. There are about 9 or 10 bridges and 3 tunnels (Long Island..don't quote me on this) that carry the traffic each day. Young people there are buying inflatable rafts, boats, to be used to hit the waterways as they know that they are trapped with traffic. Store a truck or bike down the coast is their escape! So you see there is a lot of things that one needs to take into consideration re that truck price. Yes, the large cities are definitely going to see a huge jump in those prices. More people...more opportunity to sell. Think about it!!!!Peace Moparmom

You bet you can!!! I'll send you some when we get all the berries ripened, picked, and cooked off. Will let you know a delivery date when we have the finished product. Love & Peace, Moparmom
  15. To Ranchman....I've been going back and forth to Boise with Michael taking transmissions down and bringing them back. I've had nothing but storms following us. A lot of rain and high winds. Since I need to oil the deck around the house, this is setting me back. Peace, Moparmom
  16. To Hodag56 (Art) Thank you for your kind words. You know Michael throws a bumch of pictures out there but he did not relate what we were/are doing. We travel the back roads as much as we can to interact with the people and learn from them how they are changing their life styles to be more efficient in the 20th century. At Berdorff the owner remains there all through the winter season and snowmobilers make the 30 mile trip up there from McCall, Id. At Secesh Meadows, Id. the people at the store/bar were working to put in a kitchen to serve hot food for those snowmobilers and without power this is a feat. At 6000 feet and snow that get deep enough to collapse a roof, this is risky. So you study the roofs at the old hot springs and look at the beams in the store/bar. Solar? All sorts of questions get tossed out there, but people are determined to make a go of it. We've learned so much from the back country people and their ways. People are friendly, kind, etc and delighted to tell you all about how they do some things and why. The exchange of info is priceless. We know that old WW II plane is back there, but we haven't hiked in to look at it. We believe in KEEPING IT SIMPLE and eliminate the confusion in life. Tell me about that root cellar when you get time. How big was it, etc. We're thinking along those lines here. Peace, Moparmom
  17. To Dave 110.....the source for those truck panels is www.jcwhitney.com. Select category "exterior" and you'll find the Wilmore Manufacturing Rocker Panels that I gave to Michael for a birthday gift. I like this company and have not been disappointed with many purchases. Drive safe, Moparmom
  18. You know what W&F? The liberals asked us to be "tolerant" and so we were. That gave the opposition the upper hand to walk all over us. Well, we Americans got sick and tired of this routine as one by one our rights and freedoms were removed. NOT ANY MORE. ENOUGH!!!! The American spirit is back and they hit the internet, media, streets, politicians, US gov.,with a resounding DON,T THREAD ON ME. We reached our limit of being pushed. I'm not part of the problem! Those storms are rumbling through our area now and have been all night. I'd say that travel with a chain saw is advisable!! Tell Hank,Beth, Abe and Stefanie to take care. Secure all those pooches too. Love Moparmom
  20. Give this guy some thought...he's right on http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=313777 THINK THIS GUY HAS IT ALL COVERED. I COULDN'T SPOT ANYTHING HE LEFT OUT. I Am the Democratic, Republican Liberal-Progressive's Worst Nightmare. I am a White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker. That’s me! I am a Master Mason. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living. I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on others. I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars. I believe in American products and buy them whenever I can. I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don't work! I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way! I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American. I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it! I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English. I believe there should be no other language option. I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to. My heroes are Malcolm Forbes, Bill Gates, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor. I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it. I've never owned a slave, nor was I a slave. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you! I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is AMERICA ...We like it the way it is and more so the way it was ...so stop trying to change it to look like Russia or China , or some other socialist country! If you were born here and don't like it... you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you. I believe it is time to really clean house, starting with the White House, the seat of our biggest problems. I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution? Can I get an AMEN on that one? I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike. And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license. I think it's good.... And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money.. I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years. I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause....Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family! I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.... I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think! I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA ! If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American. If you are a BAD American too, please forward this to everyone you know... We want our country back! My Country..... I hope this offends all illegal aliens. My great, great, great, great grandfather watched and bled as his friends died in the Revolution & the War of 1812. My great, great, great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Mexican American War. My great, great grandfather watched as his friends & brothers died in the Civil War. My great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Spanish-American War. My grandfather watched as his friends died in WW I. My father watched as his friends died in WW II. I watched as my friends died in Vietnam , Panama & Desert Storm. My son watched & bled as his friends died in Afghanistan and Iraq .. None of them died for the Mexican Flag. Everyone died for the American flag. Texas high school students raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole, other students took it down. Guess who was expelled...the students who took it down. California high school students were sent home on Cinco de Mayo, because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them. Enough is enough This message needs to be viewed by every American; and every American needs to stand up for America . We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough. I'm taking a stand. I'm standing up because of the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the American flag. If you agree, stand up with me. And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message. AMERICANS, stop giving away Your RIGHTS ! Let me make this clear! THIS IS MY COUNTRY ! This statement DOES NOT mean I'm against immigration ! YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, IN MY COUNTRY, welcome to come legally: 1. Get a sponsor 2. Learn the LANGUAGE, as immigrants have in the past ! 3. Live by OUR rules ! 4. Get a job ! 5. Pay YOUR Taxes ! 6. No Social Security until you have earned it and Paid for it ! 7. NOW find a place to lay your head ! If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone, then YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM ! We've gone so far the other way . . . bent over backwards not to offend anyone. Only AMERICANS seems to care when American Citizens are being offended ! WAKE UP America ! ! ! If you do not Pass this on, may your fingers cramp ! Made in the U S A & PROUD OF IT!!!!!
