Coming False Flag Attack
The evil that seeks to destroy this land of our's does not take time off to honor the birth of Christ. I feel it is important for you all to read through Part I and II and discern for yourself. On part II where the comments come in about 13 down is one titled, Pine For Better Daze. Check this site out regarding our Statue of Liberty. A Little Birdie Told Me....
Happy Birthday, Son and thank you for saving my life!!!!! I will always be eternally grateful to you and God. Michael, based on his experience with Search & Rescue and the fire depart., knew that when blood started to flow he had only 1 hour to get medical attention to the injured. He was aware that he had spent sufficient time trying to stop the bleeding and it was now time to move and move rapidly as the hospital was an hour away. At 3am in the morning, up the canyon along the river, through the grazing land shroud in fog and up to 5500 elevation to McCall. It was a ugly scene believe me. Michael was doing all this for me and at the same time he was in pain with a pinched nerve in his back. We have both taken the time to mend. I am thankful for all of your prayers, concerns and words of comfort. (I cracked up with Dorkweed and his lime bean spin-off). Laughter is wonderful medicine. Thank you all and to my son, I love you. Poll..........To buy.........or not to buy?
I'm going along with ISX on this discussion for several reasons. One is that ISX is looking at it with a clear "let's keep it simple" attitude and the other #2 is if this is a project that you will work on when time permit, it is not an urgent purchase. Your looking at something that is down the line - future - rather then "it has to be done immediately". So if the project is a leisure one, why are you buying equipment to stand around until your ready to work with it. If you were Michael, I'd be saying, "Are you crazy?" My other point is this...do not remove any rocks and dirt from the land unless you have a true perception as to what you are going to be doing with these rocks and dirt. Take a look at the mud slides in Colorado, Mexico, etc., and realize that these rock are a natural formation for a wall and protection in uncertain times. In 1974 it was the rock that lined the driveway that were used to re-route flood waters away from our homes. No sand bags, just rocks. Don't cart them off. Line them up and hold on to them as assurance. Your endeavors on your ranch/farm are a gift during these troubling times.Mopar mom...just being practical!

Fire Academy
Your director forgot to tell you that this weekend he is attending the Central Idaho Fire Academy in Donnelly, Id. starting tonight at 6pm. He will have arson investigation and extrication classes to fulfill. He will not be returning to the ranch here until sometime late Sunday afternoon. Michael just called at 6 PM and said that he has internet and his laptop, so he'll be popping in and out of the site as classes permit. No need to call the house...catch him on the site. He and his buddy (Kelly) have the RV up there so they're comfey!!!!Like to take the time to say hello to Tracy and welcome to our world-wide family. Love MoparMom

A senior citizen to the junior citizens
FIVE LESSONS FROM AN OLDER WOMANSHE WALKED UP AND TIED HER OLD MULE TO THE HITCHING POST. AS SHE STOOD THERE, BRUSHING SOME OF THE DUST FROM HER FACE AND CLOTHES, A YOUNG GUNSLINGER STEPPED OUT OF THE SALOON WITH A GUN IN ONE HAND AND A BOTTLE OF WHISKEY IN THE OTHER.THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER LOOKED AT THE OLD WOMAN AND LAUGHED,"HEY OLD WOMAN, HAVE YOU EVER DANCED?"THE OLD WOMAN LOOKED UP AT THE GUNSLINGER AND SAID, "NO, I NEVER DID DANCE... NEVER REALLY WANTED TO."A CROWD HAD GATHERED AS THE GUNSLINGER GRINNED AND SAID, "WELL, YOU OLD BAG, YOU'RE GONNA DANCE NOW," AND STARTED SHOOTING AT THE OLD WOMAN'S FEET.THE OLD WOMAN PROSPECTOR -- NOT WANTING TO GET HER TOE BLOWN OFF -- STARTED HOPPING AROUND. EVERYBODY WAS LAUGHING.WHEN HIS LAST BULLET HAD BEEN FIRED, THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER, STILL LAUGHING, HOLSTERED HIS GUN AND TURNED AROUND TO GO BACK INTO THE SALOON.THE OLD WOMAN TURNED TO HER PACK MULE, PULLED OUT A DOUBLE-BARRELED SHOTGUN, AND COCKED BOTH HAMMERS.THE LOUD CLICKS CARRIED CLEARLY THROUGH THE DESERT AIR. THE CROWD STOPPED LAUGHING IMMEDIATELY.THE YOUNG GUNSLINGER HEARD THE SOUNDS, TOO, AND HE TURNED AROUND VERY SLOWLY.THE SILENCE WAS ALMOST DEAFENING.THE CROWD WATCHED AS THE YOUNG GUNMAN STARED AT THE OLD WOMAN AND THE LARGE GAPING HOLES OF THOSE TWIN BARRELS.THE BARRELS OF THE SHOTGUN NEVER WAVERED IN THE OLD WOMAN'S HANDS, AS SHE QUIETLY SAID, "SON, HAVE YOU EVER KISSED A MULE'S A*S?"THE GUNSLINGER SWALLOWED HARD AND SAID, "NO M'AM... BUT... I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO."THERE ARE A FEW LESSONS HERE FOR ALL OF US:1 - Never be arrogant.2 - Don't waste ammunition.3 - Whiskey makes you think you're smarter than you are.4 - Always, always make sure you know who has the power.5 - Don't mess with old women; they didn't get old by being stupid...I JUST LOVE A STORY WITH A HAPPY ENDING, DON'T YOU?

Bit of gardening for the day...
Mike said, "Check the site, Mom. ISX is at you again." I knew ISX with his brilliant mind and sharp wit would come up with something. But I don't feel so stupid any more.....two people sitting side by side texting one another would win a prize for the lack of communication skills.

Bit of gardening for the day...
This is stupid!!!!! I've been in the kitchen all day steaming off vegetables for the freezer. Mike has come and gone through my galley off and on during the day with his activities so I'm taking a break and sit down and hit the Mopar site. What do I get...I get to view what he has been doing. This is stupid, I live here and instead of walking out to see it...I tap his site. I can look out the window too. Did we really advance technology wise or did I get lazy. So Mike is moving raspberry bushes...that's lovely. Ask him to shoot a shot of that lower acre that is filled with more raspberry bushes. He doesn't even pick them....I do! We have over 5 different kinds of apples, several kinds of cherries (dark red, pie, sour, etc), peaches, plums, strawberries, blackberries, blue berries. The trout and salmon are across the road in the river jumping up and down. The deer are quiet now as they have plenty of grass in the high country. Yes, it's gardening time and we are blessed to be able to work at caring and harvesting His gifts so we can share them with others.

MoparMom, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Thank you Dave for even thinking about me. Very loving thought. No I did not celebrate Mother's Day...I rain checked it until sometime next week. Very busy schedule here with wood hauling, company, etc., so Michael gave me a half a Subway sandwich (no ChickFil here) and called it good. Gotta go to Boise with RV when we have a break in things here. I don't get strung out on this Mother's Day stuff. Once you commercialize an event it loses it luster. It takes on an over kill. My mother's day are when you've spent time putting plants in the ground and it's your son that picks the first rose of summer and gives it to you because you "just wouldn't think of cutting it for yourself." Or the note that left on the counter that says, "I was think about you...I love you." That's the mother's day for me. Not the gifts and crowded restaurant! It's the unexpected memories that mean so very much. Thank you for creating this memory too. Love you forever, MoparMom

Wild fires
We were on our way home from Donnelly, Id. this afternoon. Highway flashing sign said, "Wild fire ahead 29 miles." Mike said, "I know where that's at. It DB's ranch. I drop you off at the house Mom, grab my gear and get a fire truck. That was at 2:30...It's now going on 8PM. Winds have died down up at this end of the canyon which is a good sign. I'll leave a light on for him. Say a pray for all of them. Mopar Mom

Hey, boat guys...
Speaking of boats....Jet Boat Races on Salmon River, Idaho....Michael called home and will be in early in the am. He's dead tired and wore out. He and Kelly are ordering a pizza, taking it back to the RV and crashing for the evening. When he wakes up, he'll drive back home. He misses you all, so look for him tomorrow morning when he comes on line. Love Moparmom

Time Lapse Video: From New Meadows, ID to Council, ID
Your arguing about going to slow...are you kidding me? Your inter-state may be maintain, patrolled and swept clean of debris daily. Out West we're a little more diligent. We do not take things for granted!!! We can start out and Mike says, "You've got one coming up on your side." That means I've got a deer or two in the drainage ditch that may surface on the highway. You slow down,of course. Then there are steers (we're open range), bear, turkeys, moose, etc. You slow down because some times they just stand there and look at you. I had a bear that charged into my truck coming home one time. If a driver is flashing his lights at you, it means slow down because some thing is in the road. Now we covered the wild life, but there is still the mountains themselves. They expand and contract during the night and rock and boulders come lose and end up on the road. Land slides are another thing, due to rain or the movement of boulders. So lets take that nifty high speed interstate and throw a few of our daily obstacles at you. If you had to dodge steers, bears, boulders, etc would you still be doing 65 or would you have to slow down. Don't argue with me! Your not going to win this one.
