  1. Checked DTC's pulled a P0500 and the P1693 codes.
  2. Sounds cool. Hope I can make time on the calander......
  3. Had an issue with brakes start up last night and today. When applying the brakes and almost to a stop (Maybe 5mph), it feels like the ABS is kicking on? this in on dry pavement. not traction issues. Of course when this happens stopping distance goes wayyy up! I'm not really sure what to check. Wheel speed sensor maybe?? Any ideas??
  4. You were runing it as a single? That would be pretty large.
  5. WD40 will work to remove the residue. Gasoline will work but a little on the harsh side.
  6. I'm in the process of getting my parts together to fab up a compuond setup. Top turbo is a HE351. I picked up a HT3B for the low pressure turbo. I thought it was a 26cm exhaust housing. Turned out to be a 32cm. Questoin is this. With a set of 150 sticks do you guys think the 32 will light? Or should I just start looiking for a 26/27 cm housing? How bad do you think this wild lag used as a 32? You can see my current mods in my sig. Thanks
  7. Great work. Look forward to seeing the final results!
  8. Well I just did some more searching and answered my own question. the Donaldson is 7mμ vs. 5mμ for the Baldwin......
  9. Just wondering how the Donaldson P550800 rates vs. the Baldwin PF7977 for the stock canister location?
  10. They are deffinately worth while! I have one on my '01 and helps alot. The PSC looks like a good bargin.
  11. Well just ordered my Pricols this afternoon. Mechanical Fuel gauge and another boost gauge. I'll plumb the fuel gauge direct with nedle valve like has been shown here many times! Deffinately going to give the Polyon Air Brake line (or similar) a try.
  12. No problem. The smarty stacks with my TST PM3. It gives it a nice kick on the bottom end. I'm just using it for the timing basically. The REVO is the latest version of software. It gives the ability for torque management, speed limiter setting, injector dwell ect. overall a great stack with the TST Fueling box!
  13. +1 on the switch. I've been using my truck for my daily commute to keep some of the miles off the car (also just plane love driving it =) ) 120miles daily. I've been palying around with the switch and i'm seeing about a .5 - .75 mpg improvement by using the switch as much as possible. Also using it to coast down saves the brakes a bit too. I will say that the winter diesel shure sucks though!
  14. This is great info. I'll be installing some new gauges shortly. I'll give this a look see.
  15. Put a Luke's Link on mine with the Poly bushing. An excellent upgrade for well under $100.
  16. I wired on up for my rig to control the 3-4 shuddering. No amount of filters has cured it. This does! I also added in a resistor in between the ground and the switch and reinstelled the relay in the panel. Takes care of throwing a code.

  18. Very nice install! I'm running hte dual bypass on my '01 and have been very happy with it. The better filtration and bonus oil capacity maks me and the truck very happy.
  19. This is a great write up! I'm in the process of building my set up as well. It's nice to have a buddy that works in a Cat store.
  20. I:iagree: also can run a bottle of the Amsoil engine flush while doing the change over.
  21. I run Amsoil in everything I own. On the Diesel I use it front to back, with a dual bypass system. I am an Amsoil dealer and use the products because I believe in them. After many years of all types of Motorsports racing I've used them all, and Amsoil is simply the best!
  22. Ill give it a try. Hopefully it will light. I plan on running some 200hp sticks, and I do have the TST PM3 Stacked with the Smarty. However if someone has a great deal on a HT3B with 28cm housing I'm interisted!
  23. 1) '94 Mustang GT (with NOS)2)'99 F-150 Lightning3)'01 3500 Dually 4x44)'03 Ford Escape5)'03 Mini Cooper6)'05 36' Class "A" Motorhome 6.8l v-107) and garage full of motorcycles!
  24. I think your right. Well since finding out this info and checking into it kind looks like I've got a turd coming! Oh well I'll have a nice $140. door stop. LOL. Think I'll still be looking for a reasonably priced HT3B for a lower twin set up.
