  7. yes it will. all the 1 ton.s come with limited slip so anytime the diff oil is changed it will need some
  8. you would not be wasteing your money .the rv275 is a nice upgrade they work really well for both power and mpg increases you would be very happy with them.if you are no stranger to a tool box you should have no problem changing them /doing your valves
  9. with a injector leaking ,he should have noticed the tataltail extra smoke, the motor developing a slite miss ,and the raize in temp .all bad signs that could have saved it before hurting a piston.bad injectors are cauze of many a motor failure
  10. have you pulled the head yet and if so what was the verdict
  11. both the airdog or the fass kits come with the 1/2 line/drawstraw in them so eather pump is more than capable of handling them. i run airdog,s on my trucks never any problems.i am a dealer for both airdog and fass, have seen a gain in the sale of the fass pumps over the last 5-6 months.if price is a factor some of my customers have gone with the fass [they have a sale on right now on there 150 plats] but you would be happy with eather one
  12. shop around then give me a call, i got some goods deals going on with the fass 150 plats right now
  13. you did not spend 4,500 for nothing . tow in od ,when you come too a grade ,or get into heavy hill,s turn off your od you will be fine. just keep your eye on your get,s ,don,t lug your motor down you will be ok.drop a gear =shut off the od
  14. you will know when to kick off the od ,do not lug the truck, keep a eye on your egt,s[if you have a guage,if not, if you are going to do alot of towing you should get one]don,t let them climb over 1400*-1500* you will start to melt parts.these truck,s will pull amazing loads just use comon sence
  15. you can tow with the od on if you get into hilly roads i would kick it off till it leaveled out again
  16. i would have too agree with mike on it being the vp44

  20. i am a dealer on here too , so your point being?
  21. $1900.00 on a kit ,$1700.00 on a pump = 3600.00 plus miss and labor if you cant do it yourself . vp44 pump under a 1000.00. unless you got lots of cash the vp is the way to go for most who need there trucks for everyday trans for work ect. we do 2-3 converts a month here at the shop ,but it is for a very small group of guys looking to make the bigger numbers on the rollers or who are going pulling play toys . getting a 1000.00 for your old vp stuff i could use that phone number i got 30-35 cores here i would sell.
  22. i did not know you bought the truck new that being said you have a extreem amount of blow-by,thats why your oil is blowing out your dip stick.that is why you are going to need too pull the head too see i beleive you are going too find a hurt pistona hurt piston is the cause of all the windage in the botom end that windage or blow by is what is forcing you oil and blowing your dip-stick out
  23. your going to have to do more than pull the valve cover off your going too need to pull the head off chances are you are going to find a bad piston.see it here at the shop 5-6 times a month. guy,s run them a bit too hot melt a piston ,burn a hole in one
  24. from myself and everyone here at thracing i would like too wish everyone a merry x-mass and a happy new year
  25. don,t want too take up space here but you all can have a look in my albums got some of my toys in the inclouding my pet cat
