  1. Sorry if i'm boring you guys with the pictures, kind of excited about the ol truck though . Went down today and started undercoating it, bringing it home Friday and will get the windshield put back in then. Doesn't look that great now with the old rims and no bumpers, but she's coming along. Speaking of bumpers, bought a brand new back one from Mopar yesterday, got home and took it out of the box and unwrapped it, had a dent in it! Now i'm waiting for another one to come:rolleyes: Don't ya just love the look of the big bat ears sticking off of it
  2. Ok, here's where I sound stupid..well actually I am, but anyway.., lower the pressure down for fuel? If it's a digital read out how could it be to high to register fuel pressure? Won't it read what it is normally?
  3. I was thinking it looks like a good alternative to the three pillar and the blind spot it creates. Only thing I don't like is if one part of the gauge quits then you have to replace the whole thing
  4. Looking for pros and cons...opinions http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/3in1-Combination-Gauge-Boost-and-Exhaust-Temperature-and-Pressure-Gauge.aspx
  5. My brother tried it with his a couple years ago but didn't get a big enough run on from shore, got about 20 feet and swamped it! Usually they keep a buoy attached so when they go down in the middle of the lake they can find it. ISX, waters not bad in the summer, we just have to scare the polar bears away :lmao:My brother a water ski nut, he's usually pushing the ice away from the shore to get his malibu in to start the ski season...I think he's nuts!
  6. A couple of pictures of a buddy of mine and his friends enjoying the lake redneck style
  7. What about if you go in under safe mode, will that let you nose around any better and maybe delete some stuff ?
  8. I'm thinking I really should grab obne of these things...alot easier then hooking up an overhead console I would think, and alot cheaper!
  9. That's what I call...spare parts, when i'm all done
  10. can't seem to get a model number from it, all i'm being told it's a bit over a year old and it has a vaccuum canistor that comes with it (replaced once) and it needs a solenoid.
  11. How hard is it to install a PAC Brake? Think I may be buying one, after I got reading I wonder if I bit off more than I can chew with the install
  12. Thanks, but that's not my house...it belongs to the guy that owns the body shop. This is my house (only had a winter shot on my computer)
  13. Well, my box and talilgate have been done for a week or so now, and i was down to the shop this morning and he's painting the rest of the cab today. He did the jams, inner fenders and everything Monday and then put the doors and fenders back on, now he'll do the rest. Anxious to get it back, but the most awaited thing is bolting on my new tow mirrors , been saying for 5 years i was going to get them , can't wait to see them puppies sticking off like a sore thumb!
  14. Hope it's ok that I post this link here..if not please remove it MoparMan and I apologize. Hopefully the link will show up without you having to join the site http://www.competitiondiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82548
  15. Just a suggestion..why not look aorund for a used Quadzilla XZT which has the boost fooler in it and you gain the extra 65hp until you can get the edge? I run one on mine, made a nice wake up for it
  16. Thanks for the reply..decided against one I was looking at, bought my mirrors instead:thumbup2:
  17. Nice pictures...I can't imagine the time it took to carve those roads out of those hills
  18. I've been told that the new powerstrokes are packed i there so tight that the dealers lift the cab off to do anything major on them, only way they can get at the back
  19. I bit the bullet and ordered them from the dealer today. I was talking to the guy this morning that's painting my truck and he said he broke one on his truck so he bought an aftermarket one and put it on, he said it vibrates at higher speeds, so he thought I was wise to not buy over the net where it's all the shipping involved in case there's something wrong with them
  20. Can anyone tell me if an Edge with Attitude off a 2000 will work on a 2002? If not, what will I need to get to make it work
  21. IMO the judge that ruled that decision should be put down...for being an idiot
  22. That's whats wrong with this world...we have a bunch of total IDIOTS that a bunch or total MORONS voted in to run our countires, place them in positons within the court system when they absolutley no common sense or clue, to rule on laws and cases before the courts, and then the lawyers..a bunch of dingbats that went to school to ram their nose in a book to learn how outsmart the other person their against and twist the laws as much as they can to get someone off of a crime. Whether they are actually guilty or not doesn't matter anymore, it's how corrupt you can be. It's the same here in Canada too, god help you if your an honest working man, your screwded.
  23. I've been to the US a couple times, last trip was to North Carolina to pick up a speed boat, I always say I could handle living there. Roads are awesome compared to the pothole, crack invested crap roads we drive on,and just different scenery I guess from what I saw all my life. People that move where I am think it's one of the nicest places you could ever live too..I guess I just lived here all my life so I don't see it
  24. You guys have it good when it comes to buying parts for our trucks. I have been looking at the Kool-vue tow mirrors for my truck on discount's site, about $68 /each. Then I have to buy they brackets from the dealer at $17 each, then I have to ship them to a friend in Indiana, send them some money or put it in their account and have them ship them to me here in Canada due to the fact discount wont ship to Canada. So I figure i'm looking at about $225-$250 buy the time I pay exchange and all the costs. I called the dealer and they can get me the Mopar aftermarket tow mirror kit for $325 + tax, so i'm looking at shy $400 . Not sure what i'm going to do, I want to save the money and go Kool-vue, but if I get them here and anything is wrong, i have the hassle of sending them back to Indiana, then to Discount, and so on. In the end, I figure it probably easier and wiser to pay the extra here and go to the dealer and pay alot more, but if anythings wrong I just drive 35 minutes and get it replaced. Why is stuff so much cheaper in the USA!
