So , where are the pictures of the Charger!
  2. Big 10-4 to that ! An example of how baked our gov't is here in Canada. I see the other day they committed to "GIVING" 30 million dollars to Pakistan. Now, don't get me wrong, I do believe sometimes all countries maybe should help out the poorer countries rather than seeing innocent people, and especially children go without, with no other means of getting things they need to survive. With that being said, we've given millions to Afganistan and Iraq and who knows who else, and here in Canada we have people literally dying because they have no doctors to perform crucial operations on people in a timely manner and wings in hospitals shut down because they have no money to hire staff and buy materials to run them. Our roads...I wont even go there ! Unless you live where the heavy political support comes from, then you get everything , roads, health care etc. Maybe if these twits we have running our country had to go back to a normal everyday joe wage and didn't have their huge pensions to retire on after serving eight years, they'd look at things differently. And here we are, dumb Canadians just sitting back and letting them get away with the things they pull. All of the above I know you guys in the USA deal with too...sickening isn't it that people screw other people to have money and power , instead of everyone just trying to get by making a "nice" living for themselves

That will be an awesome car someday! I always said what a person would be smarter to do is if your going to borrow money and go out and buy a new vehicle, you'd be further ahead to go buy like a 60's or 70's complete restore car or truck and drive it as a daily driver and get away from all the anti polution and computerized crap their selling us now. At least the average joe can work on the old stuff and it doesn't put him in the poor house
  4. Nice post Moparmom. I could make a very big post on this topic and the way the world is going IMO, but it would probably overload Moparman's bandwith usage and I don't want to come across as a negative person here. I can tell you it sickens me to watch how the world is going adn the mentality of mankind...there's no common sense anymore and our countries are being run by a bunch of liars and crooks, no matter how much they want to try and look like angels! Hmm, I feel the tenson building up as I type...... possibly to be continued!

  6. Mike, is this set up basically the same as yours or as good I should say? Thinking maybe it would be best for me to just buy it then I know it's hopefully done right and I dont cause myself a bunch of grief http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-2nd-gen-all-products/308589-high-idle-fooler-set-up-sale.html
  7. Good right up, i'm sure it'll help someone out that's going to do this job. One thing I want to compliment you on is I see you have the jack stands under the housing...good to see that, to many people rely on the jack to hold the truck up. Hydraulics can fail , good to have a back up
  8. but then you don't get to see all the circus attractions like this http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/?page_id=9798
  9. :banghead: I wish I lived close to you guys
  10. you still maing up the switch setup if people want them Moparman? Is it easy hook up as in plug n play or wires need to be cut etc ? Wanna shoot me a price if you are doing them in case i'm interested in setting it up that way ?
  11. So if I am to get this done, and say I was to do your switches to fool the IAT sensor moparman, would that create a situation where the 3 cyl idle would kick in even in the summertime? Not really fussy on having the 3cyl idle going extended periods in the summer if I have my truck idling for long periods of time. Also, like I said in the intial post, has anyone figured out a way to activate it without the switches mod when warm ?
  12. So I just got off the phone with my dealer, I made my appointment for next Thursday to enable the high idle. I think while i'm doing it I will get them to enable 3 cyl idle also. Now, my father in law was talking to a mechanic at the dealer a couple weeks ago and he claims in my owners manual there should be instructions on how to enable it myself, but if I couldn't figure it out they will do it. I looked through my manual (on disc) and for the life of me I can't see anything on it . Anyone else ever see it in their manual? I think maybe he meant a service manual, not owners manual? So before I do this i'll ask here and i'm sure it's been asked out the ying yang so sorry if it has.... 3 cyl idle...will not do any harm to my engine right ?Once high idle is enabled, anyway of using it on a warm engine by pressing cruise or anything or is the IAT fooler the only way ?And..if for some strange reason my Quadzilla high idle ever gets figured out, will that just cancel the factory high idle feature and take over. I think I know it's a yes to that questin but i'm gonna ask it to be certain.Anything else I should be getting them to do on my ECM while i'm there and their into it? I'm a little nervous of screwing anything up on the ECM just be having someone in messing with it :pray:One last thing.... I was just on another forum reading about enabling the PTO high idle. I'm thinking my truck has PTO (not sure) but if it does, is this a feature that possibly you can set high idle by using the cruise and may be the better feature to have enabled so it can be used in warm temps without the use of IAT foolers and such ? Is this a dealer enable feature ? I'm full of questions this morning aren't I
  13. Well thanks ISX for doing that..at least they would tell you a spending limit I could go to, out of 2 emails I sent they refused to answer saying they did now know . As for them tracking a history of spending, I had no spending on it, never used it in the three years I had been signed up .Think what i'll do is just use it and see what happens and if they insist I give them that info to keep using it, i'll have to decide what I want to do then. Thanks again
  14. I was using Visa to sign up ISX, and that card is soley Visa, no debit involved with it. I'll have to decide if i'm going to give them the info or just go ahead and see if I can use it and how long I can go before they shut me down. I don't mind giving a credit card number to them, but when they start having my personal bank account number, I don't like that. Like you say, what's it matter to anone, if it's a credit card they just charge it. They are claiming it's there way of telling if it's really me and my card
  15. Do many of you guys have Paypal ? I signed up about 3 years ago but never used my account, never gavea credit card number etc. Reason I did was because my wife had her paypal account using her credit card, then all of a sudden they sent her an email saying in order to use it anymore she had to give a bank account number to become verified. We didn't want to give out personal information like that and we figured why isn't a credit card good enough, they're accepted basically everywhere. So i decided after that not to bother doing my account, and for whatever reason they never made her give a bank account number and she still uses paypal to this day with no issues. I decided to complete my account today and low and behold, they're asking me to give that info already insisting I have to in order for sellers to believe i'm legit in so many words. I know people that have never been asked to become "verified" and have never given them the info they want and they seem to have no issues so far. My brother being one of them ,he just signed up a couple of weeks ago and he said he gave a credit card number and nothing else was said. I'm in Canada btw, maybe Paypal operates differently in other countries , we seems to do everything more difficult here
  16. I don't know about in the states but where I live it seems $2-5000 buys you a junker, unless you have a rabits foot up your butt and luck out. Don't give it away, that's for sure...Sounds like your thinking of a fair price:thumbup2:
  17. puppies are cute aren't they! I always said, if they could get a dog to stay the same size it is at 6 months for it's lifespan, that would be cool. I thought my dobie was cutest when he was about 6 months.
  18. Billy Bee.... Most people with something hard to get like those seem to be wouldn't think of giving it up,that's awefully nice of you to do that for him.
  19. Thanks for the info. IIRC ? Is that a website or company?
  20. IDK, it's been that way since I got it. I set it until it just starts to drag too and i'll put the E brake on, and it not quite good enough to hold the truck, so I go that little bit extra that it will , then the one wheel wont release when I take the brake off. All new disc's on it, calipers, E brake shoes and brake pads. Only thing I haven't changed out was the actual E brake cables and I hate to because I think i'd just be . So i've learned to live with it i guess
  21. Welcome
  22. Interested in seeing what it is for sure, mine does the same thing...intermittent and both speeds work fine, just wont return to home when shutting them completely off
  23. not trying to steal your thread ,because this also deals with the emergency brake...when I release mine the pedal wont return out all the way and the emergency brake light in the cluster flashes until I pull the lever and pull the pedal out the rest of the way. looked for an adjustment up around the pedal but so much up there it's hard to see
