5. Go to lowes and get the rubber coupler in 4", 2 hose clamps and a PVC cap of your choice. Drill and tap for a air fitting and pull off the air filter hose and put it on the turbo. Turn your regulator on the air tank to 15 psi and hook it up.
6. No, just pulled them off the old nozzles and put them on the new ones. Its ideal to run new but I didnt know better at the time and they looked fine.
7. I have reused washers several times with no problems.
8. Sounds like you have a boost leak, it should build 22psi before the waste gate opens. You can build a boost tester out of a 4" plumbers boot and 4" pipe cap.You can do injectors but until you get the leaks fixed they won't be beneficial.
9. Here is a pic of my truck with the brace, 98-99 HD steering and BD 3rd gen track bar.
10. I also have on of those City Diesel Steering gear box braces and while it helped I think there might be a better unit out there. Of course its more money but Danny, they guy that builds them makes a good point about its design. http://www.dodgeoffroad.com/store_DORbrace2g.php
11. Start by checking for trouble codes. You can turn the key to the on position without starting, then off, on, off and back on and write down codes that scroll across your trip readout. Or you can use a code reader. Let us know if you have codes and what they are for better troubleshooting.
12. My buddy picked one up cheap but has an hy35 so he wants me to run it for a while. Its a pacbrake and he said it doesnt have a cable or anything so I guess its always on?

16. I think I will order a made up harness tomorrow.
17. Pick up a mechanical isspro for under $50 and be done with it.
18. If your smelling fuel, it may have just lost prime, but that wouldnt explain the cel.
19. GOOD LORD!!! Im glad your ok. My brake doesnt hold well enough for me to trust it loaded like that but no, its never let loose.
20. I would like to hear more about the p-pump swap when you get ready to pull it. I have been thinking of selling off the vp and electronics and going that route.
21. Any news on this? I think I will get him to get his guy to build mine because my soldering skills are lacking.
22. Looks like a mess! Gonna go for a rebuild or another used engine?
