  2. Your right But when you run a welding buss. and the economy is the way it is and you had to sell your other truck to keep employee in a job, the only truck running is what keeps you going you tend to shoot the dice, maybe lady luck will shine this time. I never saw head, so I didnt know.

  6. All I need is the head, this is the replacement head for my truck. Mine is still running for now. The eng. I got this head from was a 53 block that had burned up the auto tranny. I really dont like the grim in the head.
  7. What do you think? Head has been off four 4 days, I guess thats where the rust came from. Why is there oil and grim in the intake, valvues not seating? 11. I pulled all rockers off replacement head for my truck and what I noticed was every rocker had scratch marks in the bottom of each rocker and the rocker shaft, Is this normal? I dont like what I am seeing but there is no slack in them that I can feel, I will mic each one tomorrow. Can anyone give me the wear tolarance for this inspection? I did a search and not getting the right info. There is no sluge in head it looks good as far as that go's. I just cant belive the rockers would all have scratch marks like that. Oh and cylinder one and cylinder three had green dots far something I dont know what, cylinder one with one mark and cylinder three with two dots. Also stock thermostat was still in this 98 modle head, 8/98 was stamped on stat.

October 15, 2010 Visit my Website | Forward to a Friend | Share on: FLEMING HEALTH CARE REPEAL UPDATE Taxing Over-the-Counter Medications Under the new health care reform law, over-the-counter drugs cannot be reimbursed tax-free from Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) without a prescription beginning January 1, 2011. Special Interest Group for IIAS Standards (SIGIS) released a list of the more than 15,000 over-the-counter medications that will soon require a prescription for a tax-free withdrawal from an HSA or an FSA under the new health care reform law: Acid Controllers Allergy and Sinus medicine Antibiotics Anti-Gas Products Anti-Itch and Insect Bite Baby Rash Ointments/Creams Cold Sore Remedies Cough, Cold, and Flu Digestive Aids Pain Relievers Respiratory Treatments Stomach Remedies WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: As of May 2010, approximately 10 million Americans were covered under HSA plans for their family’s health care needs. The Joint Committee on Taxation estimates that this provision of the new health care law will cost American families $5 billion. THE DOCTOR'S DIAGNOSIS: Americans need more affordable access to health care, not higher taxes on over-the-counter medication. For this reason, I have introduced H.R. 5126, the “Helping Save Americans’ Health Care Choices Act,” which will roll back these taxes on over-the-counter medications and ensure that affordable choices will remain available to Americans. I firmly believe that high-deductible plans associated with HSA’s are a key option for providing affordable health care. As an article published in the Wall Street Journal earlier this spring put it: “To a large extent, increased health care spending is a consequence [the fact that] neither the patient, the doctor, the insurance company, nor any government program has incentive to spend health care dollars efficiently.” High deductable plans associated with HSAs create exactly those incentives, giving families ownership over their health care spending so that they can be careful and informed shoppers. I will continue to work to repeal what I firmly believe to be an onerous and unconstitutional health care reform law which passed last March and find market-based solutions to our health care needs. 18. My son and I are new to the 04 modles, my son went from a 01 to a 04 and we are trying to learn the ropes so to speak. Can any of you help out with things like what are the sensors on the air box? What can we get rid of and has to stay. Truck is a 04 3/4 ton auto trans and 4" exhaust with a proformance muffler, the rest is stock.
  19. I should have said -any diffirance between manual trans 24 valvue head and auto trans 24 valvue head?
  20. I laugh at any warranty, because they can just say you let dirt get to it, or water.
  21. Yes, give it a try. Disconect the battery's for 30 min. then turn on key and slowly press to floor and slowly raise, trun off key. If cross over tubes needed, I bought mine new for 118.00 from Austin Injection, cheapest I found.
  22. And to be running like crap for over a year. I thought there would soot in the oil judging by the way inj. looked.
  23. No way man, that's the people that ripped me off on the 7.3 power stroke I had. Sold me a short block and it used 1 gal of oil every 3k. I had liquid oil dripping from my tail pipe. They also screwed a guy on TDG on a cummins motor, he took them to court and won.Stay away stay very far away.
