I have read so much I dont know what to belive. It sounds posable that I may have a weak bolt that is not pulling it down right. I checked them all the best I could. So here is what I torqed them to 50 first time around then 77 and rechecked 77 again, then 90 degree.What do you think?

I dont know for sure just yet, when I run a compression test I will know more. I really think it is blown head gasket between cylinders. And why it wont seal I have no idea. It has been run a long time that way. I am going to try one more head gasket and see. What is your thought on copper coating gasket before install. A buddy of mine has a 03 5.9 for sale and the thought just crossed my mind. How hard was this short block ran? how many miles and what horse power was put to it?

How labor intense would it be if it could be done?

Do not deal with ECM Outlet he is a scam artist he screwed me out of 555.00 about5 months ago. He is still in bussiness it looks like. If you type in ecm outlet you will see this number 1-248-289-6063 tell everyone you know. Sorry about the late update. They said surething just need credit card number and serial number off pump and it will be out today. No question,no card no nothing, have a nice day. Now thats what I call service.And the new pumps come with quick connects already pressed on and crimped. Oh and cut to length. Hose made by Eaton. High pressure spring and a cool sticker. Spring pressure is 17.50 at idle.

I have ran a lot (3 sets) of 275's and one set of 75's and now DDP's 50 hp. And while I am on the subject I would like to thank JohnFax for loaning me his 275 till mine came back. John I will have them in the mail as soon as you can give me your address. Lost original box you sent.And I have to say the DDP's are the best I have ran as far as low end inj. They have a feel like no other inj. good low and good mid range. They do cost more but I think worth it. I am going to check to see if they have the same angle of spray or what they did, what ever it is I like.

Do you need to change the copper washer if you have changed them out two or three times?

Hey 512 you been reading my mail lol. The same thing happened to me with my new head. You wont to really see something that will tick you off pull the pedalstal flip it over with the bolt in it, there might be 7/16 of a inch sticking thru. This is more comon than you think.I dont think the lower grade bolt is much to worry about. I took mine and cut it in half spaced it out about 1/4 inch and welded it back and got about 6 threads , torqued it back down.

I took another rocker bolt from my old head and cut it in half then welded it back with a 1/4 inch gap to grab extra 5 threads then retourq rockers.It's the black cloud man, check this out I told my wife it was a good day today I didnt break anything, she reminded me I blew Hyd. hose on tractor putting in new driveway.

My airdog 100 bit the big one yesterday, I had blown a fuse last week( 20 amp )and sicne then had to put 30'S to keep it going. Well 30's wont keep it going anymore. I belive it is something in elec. motor like bearing or something along those lines. Anyway I got to thinking, I shimmed the spring about 5 months ago to get more fuel pressure on the gauge 17 lbs. Could I be overworking my little 100, I have the 150 draw straw in tank. Well I ordered a 150 pump today, I just cant be down that long untill I get it back. Just thinking out loud, what do yall think?Oh and I was told today that the new pumps come with quick connects instead of the push on connects.

I did a blow by test on the rings they passed with flying colors, I ran a oil sample test it pased like a new motor would, I replaced the head. I am open for sugestions.

I dont know but I think it has to be cracked, how else would compression be getting into fuel tank? I know the copper washers could leak but I have had three sets of injectors in it in the last year. You would think it would stop it sooner or later. And as bad as it ran it got to be cracked. It atleast runs with out missing and surging, now and has a little better down low power than it had.Thanks
