  1. I will check on it next. I put new compressure on it about 2 years ago, I hope it not going out.Michael your right on that,the temp here in central Tx today is 106 and that is in the shade.So far we have had 45 straight days at above 100 and 60 days total.The rain fall so far is 1 1/2 inches in 3 months and 3/4 of that fell last week.Cattle ranchers around here see for the next 3 years as slim to nothing. One rancher sold all the cattle and trucks trailers and shut it down. Laid off 3 men that been with him for 15 years, people around the states will be see the efects for years to come. If you go out and buy 500 head tomorrow it will be 3 years before he will sell for profit.

Man I tell you Dave, I have tried eveything I can think of and everything Michael can think of and it is a real killer.I cant even get people to talk to me about it any more because everything they bring up has already been done. This one is for the books for sure.Hey Michael I have a vp 44 on the way, it should be here by monday I sure hope it works. Or I might have to take a road trip to see ya. LOL
  4. Nope no codes. I was wondering if light worked or not but ecm that I barrowed had a code because he blew eng. over rev.I am reading a lot of reflash ecm lately, I wonder if that might work.

  6. Hey I am back, and still have same problem with truck. LOL A little refresher, the rpm drop like a rock between shifts with A/C on and no problem with it off.This is what I have done I swaped turbos with my sons truck and no change, that was a lot of work for nothing :smart Then I got a ECM from a 01 and no change. It also has new cam sensor, and new apps.My thought is VP 44 right? Whats left?
  7. That is what we been doing and losing ground.I just went outside (6:30 am) and you can smell it in the calm air.
  8. Its two in the morning and wondering if I will be able to save my home. It is a mobil home and it started in my daughters room.We pulled carpet and pad.Painted the floor and walls with kilzs and it seems it is fighting back.So Ithought mabe it is not mold and looked at gray water lines. Got a plummer friend to come over and check what I did and he found a couple lines that where not right and rerouted them. It is a funky smell I dont know else to explain. I went and bought ac window unit to put in bed room and it is 65 degress in there I thought it would dry it out and kill mold. There is no insluation under house pulled it down to see and spray with clorox. I mean I have had clorox driping off of the floor and nothing. I cant see anything growing so how do I fight what I cant see? If anybody knows anything please post or pray .Thanks Joe

  10. sensor is new and putting out .671 this is as low as it will go.Tim says this is good.
  11. It has new cam shaft sensor and the crank sensor is built in the vp44. You hit the nail on the head when you said the gate closes when you shift.The rpm drop like a rock between shifts. When you pull up to stop sign it will almost die when ac is on.So if I pluged waste gate to test run you think the rpm will stay high?
  12. A friend came up with this, is it possible that the waste gate is staying closed or almost closed causing the rpm to drop like that? A nd how do I go about checking this?

  14. Just dont let it run out of fluid in reservoir, all your doing is letting it drip. Air cant get in as long as it is draining.

  19. My son barrowed my truck and drove 200 mile with it on. I t got pretty hot the only good thing if there is one he didnt stop till he got home and I went out and felt the heat and took down the road about ten mile to cool rearend off and me. What do I have to look foward to now. Anybody have anything like this happen before? And the ABS light and brake light stay on.
  20. Everything checks out good fuel pressure is 13psi 12 at wot. You cant find codes there is nothing even with scanner. I think I will throw a ecm at it, for the cost to take it to a shop and them to tell me it's a ecm. Ecm controls the high idle and low idle the best I can find. Until somebody comes up with a idea better than that I think it makes the best sence. Vp 44 gets info from ecm then process.

Ok I talked to dealer they dont know nothing, as you can guess if it dont have a part # they dont know how to do anything.I talked to Dodge mechanic and he said he would install with out flash because the up dates would not let it flash with 01 numbers. We are installing 02 ecm in a 01. I am thinking it is a waste of time :confused: I am just going to go buy a emc put it in if that dont fix it vp44,if that dont fix it part it out.
