  1. I had a guy offer a 02 ho 6 speed ecm to try,if I get it flashed you think it will work?

  3. IIlbs is a little to low for a 150 is'nt it. I would be calling to see what could be happening beside the spring.
  4. I have a Question which one controls the idle ECM or VP44. And yes I am still fighting my self weather to buy a vp44 or not.Some of you know what is going on with my truck,it is such a night mare I dont even wont to go there.But anyway here goes, rpm drop hard when shifting and even harder when AC is on. It drops so hard and fast that when AC is on and you kick it in nuteral coming to stop sign it will almost die.
  5. I was looking around and found a little soot at the turbo right behind oil line towards the cab there is a flat ring there.Is this a problem?
  6. Got it installed and no help,it does lug better.They say it helps that. Ok here we go again ,I hooked a scanner to it and we have no cam sensor reading according to my friend. And of course I allready replaced it about 5 days ago. What would cause no reading besides a bad plug?

  8. Do you think there is a real benefit from anything over 13 lbs.I mean it wont really keep the vp any cooler will it?
  9. I thought it was just me ,my airdog 100 has lost about 1 1/2 lbs. Running at 13 1/2 to 14 lbs, when new it was at 15. If I over shim and get 16 on my Airdog 100 you think I could damage it. I am starting to think leave it alone.
  10. That is wild The only dirt I saw was little rocks in the tires.You see where he changed the intake in the last pictures.

  12. Ok I understand the theory behind the oil not getting old and useing TP to remove dirt but what removes the water in the oil? :confused:
  13. Yea I might as well call right now, miles wise I only have about 3000k on it I dont see why not.
  14. Oh yes the day I took sample I changed it then. I am going to order manual trans.filter also. On passanger side of trans.is a filter. On driverside is a magnet with bolt patern same as inspection plate. :thumbsup I think cost is around 45.00 I will let you know if you are interested.
  15. Hey Joe thought you would fine this interesting. NV4500 trans. has no lead or lead base products so where is it coming from.I tracked down a man in Wyoming who knows his stuff about truck trans and such and tells me there is nothing in there that has lead in it. Now lets take a look at Oil Analyzers and see what happen, it could be the paper work I filled out. It was real hard to fill out. No common sence questions about truck, its weird.

  17. What does pcm regulator bring it down to? My thought is pcm regulates voltage for sensors right?

  19. The only person I can swap with is my son and his is a HO motor.Wont work, will it? I hate to ask someone to swap. My luck I will drop key in oil pan LOL `
  20. Installed new crossover tubes and still the same. No change :confused:
  21. Been haveing problems for a long time. The eng. surges eradict but only slightly. When at hwy speed say 65 you let off and rmp get to about 1500 then put it in nuteral rpm drop quick to about 700 then pick back up,if A/C is on it almost dies. No white smoke no black smoke fuel mileage is normal. And when you rev up the eng. then it starts droping it has a little rev up right before idle. I here common rail motors do this, why would a vp motor do this. I changed the inj. to 75 hp and it started this so I had rv 275's rebuilt and put them back in and still the same no change.I dont no if this means anything but rpm gauge bounces a little at idle. Also I loosen inj. lines so there would not be any problem with cross over tubes lineing up with inj. and retighten. I always wash eng. where inj. lines go into head so there is no dirt getting in there. I dont know how much more I can do.Thanks for your help.Joe

At the station where I all ways fuel up it was as low as 1.89 I fueled up to day and it was 2.09 I think the price is going to jump up quick again.The boys on wall street aint got enough green to take there vaction this summer so yall dig deep again.Well maybe I am jumping the gun a little,Obama will take care of us with green cars and wind LOL
