2008 MC 6.7 - Derate Issues
Yeah, I wished it would give me a code, or be a little more explanatory, but that's too much to ask for, I'm sure. lol Prolly one of those 'hidden, dealer only' codes.

2007 3500 Okay Deal?
You shouldn't in the NV4500. My old 4500 with Valair 3650 DD didn't either. Both the MC and the Crew Cab (G56 in both) have insane gear rollover noise. Sitting idle, in neutral, and under load, sub 1500rpm. The MC has a Valair 3600 DD and the CC has a SB3600DD. The MC has 150k on it, the CC has 295k. Put the same style clutch in my old 2004 5600 and no rollover noise; a quick search on googly shows I'm definitely not the only one. It's weird.

Dual DIN stereos
I have those same headset in a desk drawer; the best place for 'em. 100% agree, they're not loud enough, and they pick up everything, mic-wise.

2007 3500 Okay Deal?
the noise I'm referring to isn't the steel disc. it's the gear-rollover of the G56, that the 5600/4500 doesn't suffer from. This is caused by the stock DMF of the G56 being replaced.

Dual DIN stereos
The Sony is android-based. IDGAF much anymore about what brand I use, provided it functions as intended with my desired operational bells. BTW, Kenwood is really JVC now.. Also, the Sony has separate BT volume settings, so I can have the radio at, say, volume 20, and if I take a call, the BT is at volume 40, or whatever I set it to. Side Note: I used to be a MECP-Certified Master Installer for mobile electronics (not that THAT means much, I'm sure)

OE clutch? Sure, it's quiet. Put a DD in it, and it's a different animal when the stock flywheel is replaced.

2008 MC 6.7 - Derate Issues
160k miles on it. G56, RaceMe Tuner, deleted. Truck has newish Bosch injectors (OE), 5" exhaust, stock airbox, deleted egr/dpf, etc. Recently, it's developed this issue of falling on it's face when hooked up to something (dump trailer, hay wagon, etc). It does it empty, or not. I have Alfa OBD, and hooked up, and I see the following: No codes that I find. When it falls on it's face, it dings and I get the 'see dealer now' message.. After about 5 secs, it picks up where it left off and drives normal.. then it may/may not do it again.. Fuel filter changed, newish in-tank pump.. crap, wrong section of forum..

I installed a Sony 2din. It has Carplay, and Android Auto, B/U cam functionality; works great, and was cheap AF. like $200.

Downside to the G56 is noise, IMO.

Steering near impossible when slow or stopped - 2003 2500 5.9L Cummins
It's all OE. Stock gear box, etc. Stock size tires, MAYBE 265s at biggest. The fluid is slightly dark looking in the res, but not burnt/too dark. it's pretty red to the touch. Steering is (guessing on memory) 3ish turns, lock/lock. Truck has about 230-240k on it.

Steering near impossible when slow or stopped - 2003 2500 5.9L Cummins
So I tried your method on purging.. I only got one tire off ground, worked it back/forth about 20 times while owner watched the fluid.. no bubbles.. then I started the engine with one tire off ground.. turned steering wheel with one finger.. great! put the tire on the ground? can't turn it.... Pick the other tire up, turns steering with one finger.. put it on the ground, no turn... I didn't get to pull the pump lines/fittings off, because it started raining.. Thoughts? think it's the pump? brakes felt normal/fine.

2007.5 Dodge 2500 6.7 fog light conversion
Yeah, I went through this same issue with my 07.5 (factory no-fogs). I added, and had to turn the signal on twice (on, save, off, save, on, save) before they started working.

Steering near impossible when slow or stopped - 2003 2500 5.9L Cummins
Purge it, by turning the wheel back/forth while running? Or is there another trick? Only thing I can think of is crack a fitting, but that'll make a mess for sure lol I still need to find the source of the leak, regardless, so I'll try to do that tomorrow. thanks!

Steering near impossible when slow or stopped - 2003 2500 5.9L Cummins
Went out to a friend's house last weekend to look at his truck for him. a month or so ago, I put a new steering stab (oem) and sway bar end-links on. shortly after, he started complaining about super hard steering when slow, or backing up... So I went out there and disconnected the stabilizer, for SnGs.. No change. Power steering pump is leaking, but had plenty of fluid in it. Hydra brakes work fine. Just cannot hardly turn it sitting still.. I don't wanna throw parts at it (pump or steer gear) without knowing pretty sure what is the issue. Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.. Pump doesn't whine/groan/nothing..

U0151 - 2008 3500 6.7L DRW G56
SOMEHOW, fuse 20/21 in the TIPM were pulled (they are joined in a fuse carrier) and were somehow disconnected from the circuit. The U0151 code isn't appearing now. But I still get a long crank, and (most times) need to remote lock/unlock to get the truck to start; otherwise, it just cranks/no start.. Man, the bugs/gremlins you get when a truck sits for extended periods of time.. LOL Thanks, Michael! Rick

U0151 - 2008 3500 6.7L DRW G56
So I got my truck back together after 1/2 a yr.. But I get this U0151 (Lost Communication with Restraints Control (RCM) Module) I tried MODIS, and AlfaOBD and cannot connect to it. Tried following some troubleshooting tips on obd-codes.com, to no avail.. I am mechanically and 12V electrically inclined, but the troubleshooting tips made not much sense.. Anyone here seen this issue/fixed this issue, or have any guidance? The Airbag light is on, and I cannot get the truck state-safety inspected until it's fixed.. Thank you. 06-08 engine bay reservoirs - coolant and washer
Correct, and I'm aware it was a 5.9 pic. But I was unsure if the bays are really any different. I know the 6.7 turbo is alot lower and further back, too. But wasn't sure if the bottles would interchange, that's all. I appreciate your input, as always.

06-08 engine bay reservoirs - coolant and washer
I've seen a few 3G trucks with coolant bottle in the RR of the bay (pass side firewall) and washer fluid in the LF. My 07.5 has the combo bottle in the LF. What denotes the other (separated design) layout vs the combination tank? I ask, because I'd like to separate mine, due to some PTO pump clearances I'm looking to add. If one of you know what particular denotation the separated tanks are (or hell, even PNs), I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm looking to go this separated tank layout. Regards,
