Floor jack recommendation
I need a new floor jack for the garage. I will use it on the fleet of cars we have but want to be sure I have enough capacity for the truck.

W123 mercedes
Who here is familiar with these cars? I have never owned one though VERY intrigued by how they are built to last a LONG time or longer. I know we have the engine (12 or 24v for arguments sake) but what body is over built enough to truly hold up to a million miles? Love to get this conversation started.. ULTIMATE LONGEVITY TRUCK. meaning can do projects around the house, tow the family camper and not be afraid to haul a load of manure in the rain. Lets bench build it

Flushing power steering fluid tomorrow

Flushing power steering fluid tomorrow
its pronounced, "wine" this is interesting, what I don't like is the "use ONLY in vehicles pre 1998" is there another Power Steering fluid from Mopar that is for post 1998 vehicles?

Wood Burners
Man I love wood stoves and burning wood. Life has me in a different world right now. 80* today and will cool into the mid 40’s tonight. As it cools a little further hope to test the fireplace or maybe get an insert and skip the furnace.

Flushing power steering fluid tomorrow
Truck has intermittent power steering, moaning and groaning. Going to start simple with fluid. Any last minute advice on fluid choice? I don’t have a jack to get the front wheels off of the ground, will get one if you guys tell me that is the only way. I have jack stands just no jack. Any and all help is appreciated.

Quadzilla on a stock truck
how does Quadzilla connect to the truck?
-
Quadzilla on a stock truck
it makes sense, but how about not pushing the stock injectors to 350hp. I think snap test with no tuner is what I am understanding I will have to pass and it cannot smoke. so if I put too much injector in and it smokes, it fails..

Quadzilla on a stock truck
I think the thread got a little off topic with everyone wanting me to make more power but we failed to address how much better can the quadzilla make a stock (or essentially stock RV275) truck?

Quadzilla on a stock truck
Hopefully @IBMobile will chime in he knows smog law way better than me. If any other Cali guys want to chime in please do.

Quadzilla on a stock truck
So since I am in California Smog country now. I want the truck to run the absolutely best it can. I may be able to squeeze RV275's in it, but not much more. Maybe a more efficient wheel in the turbo and thats that... unless there is a ball bearing turbo that is essentially stock that could be an option.. SO the question is I have an Edge Comp now.. I am not real impressed by it as the truck seems rough on the high tunes and it smokes like a freight train on the high tunes as well... So could the Quadzilla enable the power without the smoke? smooth/smoother idle? better EGT's? etc... I look forward to learning from this thread as I have not dug into quadzilla much yet.

where did you use the spray foam? Any thoughts on a DEEP clean for the leather seats, mine are not that dirty but I want them EXTRA clean.

Rear sway bar end links
I will post here as I find the bits and pieces to put mine on.. at least we will have a reference. I believe all of the Dodge part#'s are in the reference guide that is on the site.

2001 Ram 2500 complete interior restoration
what is the application process of these two products? I think I will start with the soap canon on the pressure washer, than a good scrub and thorough rinse. I have some rust under the seats as well. hoping to clean the seat frames up and paint them as well. I replaced my drivers seat bottom with one from a seat that has no heat, so I need to come up with a game plan to add heat to that seat and wire it into the truck's stock wiring.

Rear sway bar end links
I don't launch the truck. :-)

Rear sway bar end links
I don't have any clunks, because I don't have any sway bars, and I must say on an empty dually truck I can't tell the difference. Maybe I would miss them if I were loaded.

What did you use for dye? My truck has a few spots that could benefit from this I believe.

Rear sway bar end links
The bolts for my front links don't want to come out either, guess its MAP time. Bar has been off for far too long, think I better figure this out.

Fuel pressure bouncing
I doubt I will see much below 32* maybe once in a blue moon, I will never see 0* here in Southern California. Now that I am moved and somewhat settled in through, it is time for the truck to get some needed attention.

Fuel pressure bouncing
I am new to this COLD weather, was 55 this morning when I left, should be a cool 80* today.

Fuel pressure bouncing
well its finally starting to cool down here, I need to get with IBMobile and have him supervise me getting some things done on the truck. Upgrading the fuel system may be one of those things now.... It seems to be idling in that 15-17 range but drops to 8-9 on a good hard pull (empty truck) so to preserve the life of the VP fuel system is likely next on the list.
