I should add this is on days I have my landscape trailer hooked up maybe a 5k lbs trailer at most

I am picking up the truck tomorrow for a little under 10k I am glad its the cleanest I can find in my area and also its priced right best thing its a Cummins

My 02 runs a little over the half way mark on the temp gauge at all times ( once its warm ) which kicks the clutch fan on was wondering if that's ok ?

how hard to change a valve cover on the 12v ? I have done some Honda and Nissan before nothing too involved what about the check gauge light and oil pressure that's a pressure switch gone bad right ? Do I have to change the valve springs !

I thought I was too low with a 10k offer including NJ taxes ( 7% ) they asking $11k Plowing is not really my main issue I have my 2500 cummins 4x4 to plow this would be fall clean up and firewood delivery truck for my landscaping business and if I can maybe put a salter on the back for some extra business.

1998 Dodge Ram 3500 2WD 5 speed manual with the 12v cummins ( not cummings ) 149k miles regular cab 8ft PTO heil dump body with the L tool boxes behind the cab Drives well tires are maybe 10k miles old or so new exhaust clutch is strong brakes are good just got a little of a valve cover leak on the exhaust side and the oil pressure switch is gone bad it keeps going up and down and trips the check gages light horn dont work either but thats should not be a big deal to fix Doors are not rusted as well as the rocket panels it even still got the paint on it, under body is cleaner than 100's I seen before only thing rusted is the metal mounts on the bottom of the seats but its surface rust nothing too bad the floor is still solid from top and bottom I pushed on it with a screw driver and it didn't budge can I plow with it if I have to ? or just dont waste my money on a plow ? how much you think its worth ?

So no one knows of any common problems with a 95 3500 ?

I dont care what you like buddy no seriously I am with you I like the bed on the white one but the trans and miles on the black one is way better But also on the other hand the black one would carry way more wood in that bed + I can do leaf cleans up down the road as well I was more concerned about problems issues etc watch for this check that make sure with this type of guide lines from someone that owns so MANY of them like your self

I am looking at a 1995 3500 dump truck actually there is two of them one is auto with 168k and the other is 4 speed + OD with 93k miles what should I look for in both trucks ? issues known with that year etc thanks in advance
