Quick Question Regarding Codes...
You may want to check your IAT sensor. It may be faulty and causing the heater grid to operate when it should not be. It should not be operating when intake air temp is above 60 degrees.

new injpump, head'n out on a long trip
I definitely second the suggestion to get rid of the K&N filter for the BHAF. A set of EDM 90 hp injectors and an Edge EZ or Smartie would make for a very moderate, reliable, but noticable improvment in hp and fuel economy. So far, in my limited experience, the best and most noticable fuel economy mod lies in moderation of the right foot. Minimize boost pressure to stay below 4 psi as much as possible and keep the rpms between 1400 and 1600. Not always easy or practical when pulling a heavy load especially on hills.

UH Huh, like this will ever be possible?
Probably the only hope of increased efficiency lies in finding a way to harness the exhaust gases and heat that are currently being expended as waste exhaust and heat extracted from the radiator. This would take some extensive "outside the box" thinking to design such a system. Heat is energy, recoving wasted energy to incorporate into powering the drive train could achieve a large increase in economy, but how is the big question.

Pictures of your truck!
I'll have to look through my pics or take some new pics of the truck. Between the chickens, forest and logging roads.......the paint job ain't what it used to be.

transmission and pump
When you installed the SB clutch, did you replace the existing clutch slave cylinder assembly? With respect to the P7100, I think the cost of conversion would be prohibitive and have its own issues.

Pictures of your truck!
Here are some pics of when I got her when she was new. She has about 67,000 miles on her and a few scratches and dings but in good shape.

Look what I brought home
Congratulations! Hope baby and Mom are doing well. Is the baby sleeping through the night yet or is Mom up and down all night feeding? We have 3 daughters and I can tell that the lost sleep and all the rest that goes along with it is DEFINITELY worth it. Our oldest daughter just graduated high school this week and will be off to college in a few months. Better start saving up now!

Another Million mile Dodge to the record books...
That is just amazing. This guy said he had a 96 Ram at home with 850,000 miles on it. This guy must have his employees drive until they drop.

BHAF filters...
My heat shield is identical to the heat shield you show. It is made of diamond plate aluminum and works great. Looks great too!

How to cool a vp44
In my opinion, the best way to cool the VP-44 is to keep a generous supply of tank temperature fuel at adequate pressure supplied to it.

Boost leak!
Sounds like one of the boots blew off of the intercooler or other piping boots. Hopefully that is all it is.

24 valve cutting out, need help
The Cam Postion Sensor is what commonly get replaced along with the IP due to the tight confines of space and general pain in the rump to get to it. Checking for codes should most likely tell you what if any sensor is the problem.

24 valve cutting out, need help
Have you checked for DTC codes? It could be the APPS or perhaps one of a number of sensors. Check for codes first, to get an idea of where to concentrate your efforts to troubleshoot. You may be able to get the codes pulled and read at a local auto parts store like Auto Zone. If not, the dealer can do it but making your wallet a good bit more empty feeling in the process.

My new white shop floor...
Very nice! Now if someone could just come up with a pair of eye glasses that allow me to see up close and far away in BOTH the upper and lower part of the lense. :banghead:

BHAF filters...
I mounted a turbo heat shield in place of the OEM air filter box and the BHAF lays on the heat shield. I use a bungee cord to hold the BHAF in place. Use a bungee cord long enough to just hold the BHAF in place and not too much tension as their is not much else but the A/C lines and the OEM fender air inlet to hook the bungee too. I have had mine mounted like this for about 2 years. Works great.

Goes out Monday morning. Spent 11 hours in the tractor seat bush hogging yesterday and had to go to the range to qualify today. Had that scheduled for quite awhile. Sorry!

Vbulletin/Wamp Server/Big Dump Questions
Mike I sent this to you in a PM but figured this forum could use the activity and perhaps someone else may benefit from it so I reposted it here. I am playing with the 3.0.9 verson of Vbulletin. I opened up the upload folder, then install folder, control A, copy, then go to the wamp folder, then www folder, then install folder. Am I correct so far?My question is do I just highlight the files in the wamp install folder, delete them and then paste the new 3.0.9 files into the wamp install folder? Then I need to change the config.php.new to config.php?Open the config.php file with word pad.change database to test.savethen go to browser an type in localhost/install/install.phpI guess the question I should ask before I do any of this is.....do you think the current Vbulletin 3.5.0 can upload the SQL file with big dump?I am gonna need some help with big dump. I have very little understanding of what and how it works.

Which Web Hosting Plan to Go With Starting Out???
Thanks Mike. For now I think I will hold off ordering the web hosting until I get the Vbulletin software downloaded, import the SQL database backup, and get the forum up and running on my computer. This may take awhile. Once I have the forum running and looking like I want, then I can order the web hosting package. Does this sound about right??? Don't want to put the cart before the horse.

Which Web Hosting Plan to Go With Starting Out???
OK, Go Daddy has a special on the Economy Plan that is 36 months @ $3.79 a month. I think I am gonna go with that plan. Question? 1. Is the Deluxe Email Plan worth the extra $1.59 a month for 36 months? I am thinking no. Thoughts? 2. Personal Email Plan cost an extra $0.95 a month for 36 months, is it worth it? 3. Is the Search Engine Visibility Plan that costs an extra $26.99 per year for 3 years worth it? There were some other search engine visibility and marketing plans that I am thinking I don't need as well. Go Daddy sure does add and lot of extraneous stuff. I guess that is where they make their money the best, marketing hype.

On a tight budget - Power Puck Question
From my experience the boost pressure tends to vary depending upon the weight of the truck or what it may be pulling. My truck empty will max around 31-32 psi. When I had the 110 gallon fuel tank and other junk in the bed, it would max out around 36 psi.

Vbulletin SQL Backup File Copy to CD
No. About the time I finished downloading the software, the phone rang. The area state forester representative wanted to meet so we could finish up our "Certified Family Forest" plan. Then since his office was a block up the road from my favorite local gun store, I could resist the temptation to stop by the gun store to chew the fat and see what was the latest stuff he had on the shelf. By the time I got home, it was after 7 pm. I was thinking I should try to download the Vbulletin first and see if I can import the SQL file and see how it works first and then move on from there.
