All my trucks I've had over the years the tag was still on it telling what brand the alternator is.

Curious how this works on a dually, when mine wears out someday probably look into it. There isn't much price difference between stock and the 4th Gen setup is there?

That's awesome. I had to go from Michigan to Tennessee for my truck. Worth the drive, rolled 98,000 on the way home.

Sure is easier to justify fixing these older rigs up instead of buying newer and the expensive problems that go with them. BTW second gens are still my favorite too.
