Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
That's a pretty cool attachment. Like an oversize airbrush. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for one. Neighbor has a rust catalyst for body work that turns it into nickel I believe. Just spray it on. I am going to give that a try tonight or tomorrow on some areas. Down side is you need to respirator up along with the exhaust fan going. I have only needed the exhaust fan for the rattle canning. With it running and a door cracked the shop temp will dump 5 degrees yesterday.

Last night my neighbor was underside with me checking things out and he pointed something out that I never even knew were there. There are plugs on the inside of the rockers!! Holy revelation for me batman!! He said once we get all this fixed up, you pull those plugs and load it up with chain lube like the door. I'll post a picture in this post later.

Yes. It's for dirt bike chains. eta: 5 more rattle cans down. Made it to end of fuel tank as of 6pm.

Lots and lots of power washing the underside in the winter. It quit being my daily driver in 2007 so that helped also.

Thanks JAG. I am very very lucky to have the lift available to me and that the truck can live on it for a while. It is going to be a loooooong weekend trying to get this done. I went through 4 cans of rustoleum yesterday after using the wire brush and air gun. I only made it to the rear tires and I started at the back bumper. I have not touched the rear end yet paint wise. I am going to need a lot more paint.

How big of mid sized? Neighbor has a hitachi that is about the biggest mini hoe there is. Sweet sweet little unit. Fits in the roll off box. Barely. He demo’d 3 other mini hoes before this and they couldn’t compare. You might find find some good stuff squirreled away in those depression era buildings.

I agree. I am beyond extremely fortunate and spoiled. The underside of the truck needs Jesus and a bath. Just because it was purchased in Nevada doesn't mean it's not a straight up MN truck which I have learned. Once I had it airborne and was swearing to the dog and cat I realized that I always fall victim to the assumption that people take care of their "stuff" like I do. WRONG. You could eat off of the underside of my 01.5 when I sold it in 2010. The buyer was floored when he was rooting around underneath. Oh well. Make lemonade out of lemons time.

Titanium 150 Pressure Adjustment
This. I had one of those on my old stand alone Fass 95gpm pumps. You don't need it with the filtered Fass setup. I don't know how many diesel bath's I took changing that out. And that was with bald jaw vise grips on each side clamping down. It's just a screen filter.

Extremely handy piece of equipment. Especially when you have adapter plates for skid steer attachments. It is amazing what the big one will pick with the arm boomed out.

@JAG1 This is a telehandler. It has 4 wheel steer, the arm booms in/out and goes up and down. Front attachment tilts up/down. The old one that was quite a bit smaller. Very handy. I’ve taken many bucket rides in that one for up in the air jobs and I’ve pushed a lot lot of snow with it. Truck is in the air. Time for fun to begin.

How strong is a stock clutch?
Sheesh. Imo, it’s up to the owner to do their own research before purchasing items. At least be informed. In this day and age of information at our finger tips there is zero reason not to be.
-
How strong is a stock clutch?
I agree. I was going through valairs descriptions and the ceramic clutches stated not for towing.

How strong is a stock clutch?
Interesting. As I stated "for it's purpose." Not a daily or regular driver but a play toy that was taken out once in a while. I'll either being doing another OFE or see what Valair offers for when the time comes in the new truck.

I am fortunate to have available to me a large heated shop and large attached enclosed heated lean to. The truck has been parked in there since it came home. Nice layer of dust on it. Today it gets moved to the hoist bay to start working on the one rusty rocker and cleaning/painting the underside. The neighbors "stuff" (plow truck, telehandler, and skid steer) will be out of the way for a while and my truck can reside there for now. I understand "stuff."

How strong is a stock clutch?
On my first truck the stock 5600 held fine with an EZ and rv275's that was 325 at the wheels. I never got on the throttle at lower rpm's which I attribute to it's long service the stock clutch gave me. What killed is was getting on the throttle at low rpms. I was rolling through a turn in 3rd gear then got on it at low rpm's. Bye Felicia. STAAAAAANK. For the next few days you could smell my truck before you saw it. Replaced with CON OFE. Great clutch. Towed real heavy with it and held everything I threw at it at that point. I agree with what @trreed says. Define your purpose then choose your clutch accordingly. My little truck had large twins, heavily fueled, and 6 x 13's. There was a Valair Dual disc ceramic for the 4500. Fantastic clutch for it's purpose.

Lift Pump Question
Does no where west of the Missouri have #1 fuel? all of these issues with gelling boggle my mind. I had had my best fuel pressures in the winter due to a 50% cut of number 1. The only blend I trust is the one i do of 50:50 1 and 2. And if knew hardcore subzeros were coming I filled with straight#1. And loaded a healthy dose of 2 stroke.

BD Vs. Pacbrake Vs. Banks
I had the same setup except arming switch at 3 oclock position. I grabbed it between 4th and pinky finger. Side note I love how everyones shifter knobs are rotated different. Pre and post EGT probes, nice. My shifter knob was rotated all the way around in my old truck. I think think the new truck is close to yours. Lol

BD Vs. Pacbrake Vs. Banks
I loved it. I had to get rid of it in 2007 when I went to a different charger. I used it all the time year round. Absolutely fantastic for warming the vehicle up vs just high idle. Although high idle + exhaust brake will open the thermostat. I found that out on a -40 morning. I never had to replace brake pads from 2003 to 2007. When downshifting with a load on you just felt the entire vehicle slow down. Be it snowmobile trailer, 38 foot enclosed loaded with sleds, or gooseneck with a skidsteer and mini hoe on deck. It saved my butt a few times also.

Interesting. One off vapor ware. Saw their videos but no explanation of concept just wanting funding.

BD Vs. Pacbrake Vs. Banks
You are correct. When I went from HX35 to Super B I had to lose the exhaust brake due to the Super B now having an HX40 outlet and requiring an HX40 downpipe. BD's and Pac Brake's websites even mention this. Although Pac Brake's is a little more vague stating an additional adapter is needed and I was unable to find that adapter on the site. https://pacbrake.com/product-search-results/?product_year=2002&product_make=Dodge&product_model=RAM+2500&product_line_type=exhaust-brakes&search_type=product https://www.dieselperformance.com/shop/product/2033137-exhaust-brake-1999-2002-dodge-vac-turbo-mount-5348 When I was needing to upgrade the HX35 I had one option then if I wanted to keep the brake. City Diesel's Dodgezilla hybrid. Wasn't exactly sold on that at the time. This was 2007. Now with the advancements in hybrid HX35 chargers and tuning there really is no reason you can't have the exhaust mounted brake...within certain limits. I will be getting another one for this truck. When I got rid of it I missed it a lot.

BD Vs. Pacbrake Vs. Banks
I had a BD turbo mount on my old truck. I loved it. Zero issues and used it all year whether towing or not. Had the arming switch on the shifter and there was a micro switch on the throttle. Brake activated when throttle was in neutral position. Saved my butt a few times.
