  1. Once you get high beams working check out post from January 18. There is a write up and pictures to repin the plugs. Makes the lights better.
  2. Thanks, that's the first hurrdle.
  3. Friend with 06 auto wants to change to a NV 5600. Will it physically fit the space? He found a 5600 and all the parts. Any thoughts? What are some of the major stumbling blocks? Thanks in advance.
  4. Where do I get one? Could not find on the link to order. Thanks Mike. Got one on the way.
  5. Where do I get one? Could not find on the link to order.
  6. Yes I use one, otherwise needle jumps around.
  7. Also check the big connection on the firewall, it is the one with the white bale. The bale must be to the left.
  8. Katoom Have interstate batteries in mine due to good deal. Been happy so far. 5 months, last three were winter.
  9. Got it Mike. Changed it to protect your lift pump.
  10. Will be happy to just tell me how.
  11. Yes I think I picked up 1-2 psi.
  12. Hey take all the luck you come by.There will be days when you need some. Hopefully you will never need the relay harness.
  13. That's the way mine were. It seems that the high beams were pinned wrong.
  14. Mike check out post Headlights options from January 18. There are pictures of how to repin the plugs. Mine were much better after the repin. Something about the lights being in series causing low output.
  15. 2001cummins On mine I cut only the power lead, then routed the wire up to the fender. Mounted the relay. Then routed the wire back to the cut. Got power from the battery using a in line fuse. The ground is the screw that holds the relay to the fender. That way I only cut one wire.
  16. My lift pump is in the OE position. I used Ibmobile wiring.
  17. Thank you. Your message about wiring a relay in the circuit for the lift pump saved my ecm. Yesterday I lost fuel pressure and the auto reset breaker got so hot it stuck in the on position. I couldn't hold it in my hand. I can't imagine what this would have done to the ECM. IMHO all should wire a relay in the circuit to the lift pump. Thanks again.
  18. I believe the pix is the harness that allows you to just plug your nonsport lights into the sport lights. If you want to convert you need the harness with the relays. Then make sure they are pinned like Spike 48 shows.
  19. Thanks again. Will be checking mine when I get back to town. This is another example of why this site is so awesome. There is a bounty of information that is shared.
  20. Yes I did use the DAP lights with harness, mine came wired the right way [I think]. I like them now that I have got them adjusted. I just installed the sport lights from DAP along with the harness with the relays. My harness came with all of the plugs wired for 9004 bulbs. I had to change the pinout on two of the connectors for the 9007 bulbs. I did call them to make them aware of the error. I may replace the lamps that came with the housings Otherwise I am happy with the kit. Spike 48 how did you know that they were wired for 9004 lights? Mine came with 9007 and 9004 blubs.
